  • I remember cranking this entire EP at many house parties on Main St. in Lambeth.

  • itd be funny if he crashed at the end

    great song btw,

  • Great song, and for bonus sweeeetness, I own a Suburban IDENTICAL to the one @3:37.

  • Saw them at the Waterloo Motor Inn for a university night around 1980. I think B.B. Gabor was on the same bill. Great fun!

  • @flooflox WICKED! I WAS AT EXACTLY THE SAME SHOW!

  • WICKED! I was at EXACTLY THE SAME SHOW! WICKED! oops! - I think I was 17, oh well,

  • Haven't heard that one in decades. Nice memories. :)

  • AWESOME song!

  • Como estamos de equivocados con el Automovil???

  • One of my fave songs ever. This is music.

  • Thank you to whomever posted this- this song has been wandering through my mind for a awhile and not able to remember author! Still awesome!!! Sad to learn of rhe death of writer.singer.

  • @emmettforgeasher771 We'll ALL miss Keith! A wonderful man. He Was SO sick of this song! Stiill...his greatest hit.

  • @emmettforgeasher771 he was my best man at my father's wedding

  • @chriseatschopsuey Get out!

  • Keith was the greatest guy in a public environment, especially to drink with, but he was so tortured. And not the nicest guy privately. But he did it all his way, right to his death.

  • true traffic rambos

  • Still as fresh and angry as I remember. But you know, I dont miss the shredded old speakers that I used to use.

  • man, i loved the battered wives! followed them everywhere! however, i digress. but for someone/anyone to mention them, it's like wow!

  • CFNY

  • Yeah baby,The Demics from London,Ontario,Canada !

    That song brings memories !

  • forever classic.

  • these guys are nuts!! so sweet

  • Great Video!!!!!

  • I think this is the EP version- I have the album, and they rerecorded it, unfortunately (synths?!). The version I have sounds more like Bob Rock than punk rock. This song is the best Canadian punk song ever.

  • the demics are from london by the way, not toronto.

  • hey super cool!...you're absolutely right..they were from London...(Cedar Lounge?)...but like it or not all Ontario punk bands back then only seemed to be recognized in the T.O. scene...never the less...damn fine stuff!

  • Some members were born in England but the band formed in St. Thomas, Ontario - a town near Toronto. A cliche - Torontonians want to go to a really big city like NEW YORK!

  • ST Thomas is 15 minutes from London , 2 hours from Toronto

  • One of the first punk bands I ever saw!Was the 'loft' actually a basement at The Cedar Hotel? 'The Boot" NOTHING here is lost on me. I DRANK with KEITH! I made this video as a tribute to his memory. I also owed him a drink. Proud Man. Justifiably so. Later he lived in Toronto - He was my neighbour in the Market. You're a GREAT tourist! I KNOW! I miss him too :(

  • The loft was a...loft...in downtown London.

The Demics later went on the play the Cedar Lounge "The Boot".

It's cool you made a tribute to Keith.

Did he ever tell you he fucking hated that song?

  • oh and...hey...my initial comment was aimed at a post made by 66rca

  • He didn't need to tell me. Can't imagine how sick of it he must have been. Glad you liked the vid.
