If there were a commercial version that could wirelessly upload what you scan into a computer, or send to other devices, then that would be useful and practical. However, as it stands, it's merely a fun toy, but it requires too much effort to even really be fun.

Neat, but what is the point? It is even less appealing when you think about how much work you have to constantly do to use it, as cool as it would be to look at, you'd have to shake your arm forever to see it. Meh, worth about 10 dollars as a kids toy.
