I hate it when people say that Twilight is for teenage girls. WELL DUH! It's supposed to BE for 13-year-old girls. That's why when you go to bookstores its in the section with Sarah Dessen, Lisi Harrison, and Sara Shepard where as Potter is in the action and adventure section. Twilight IS for teenagers whereas Potter is for all ages and both sexes. Not gonna lie, Twilight does need some more sharpness on the plot but overall it's a pretty good series nothing compared to Potter of course

I LOVE YOU!! Honestly, this video is SO TRUE! It doesn´t matter which book is better! I read them both, I love Harry Potter, liked Twilight when I was younger and tolerate it. You are so right, when you say it is important, that children and teenagers are reading again, no matter which book as long as they do! I know so many people in my age (18) or younger who never read one book in their entire love, they watch the movies, because it´s easier and that is soo sad!!

no hate-mails from me :) I Love Lord of the rings, Like Harry Potter, and Star Wars (both old and new) and tolerate Twilight. If someone else happens to love Twilight instead it is up to them. I enjoy "epic lotr-vs-hp battles" because they are *fun* and I get to laugh and be amazed by how well people can interweave moviescenes. But to write only with the intent to hurt and not make people laugh is wrong and bad, and disgraces the rest of the fans. Don´t destroy, take the great pieces and build!

The biggest reason I'd say this Hp vs Twi is a little ridiculous is because they are in completely different leagues. I'd say I was more biased since I'm a huge HP nerd but I did read Twilight. As an English major I can honestly say Stephanie Meyer has a ways to go before her work looks anywhere near professional as it seems almost obvious she used a thesaurus just to describe Edward in every way possible. I can't even begin to go on about how well and magnificently written the HP series is.
