@club4ghz For this I used Blender for animation (png files) and Vegas Pro 9.0 for 4K video file. But for next UHDTV ~= 8K I propably use something else - my Vegas only support up to 4K resolution :/

There isn't a commercial computer available that can render a 4k video of a 3d scene in real time. I'm a graphic artist, my computer can render a simple processor dependent 5 sec 4k scene in about 5-6 hours; roughly.

running original on a 9800gtx and no lag at all (27 fps) !
my quad core cpu is running at about 50%
gpu load is exactly at 44% all the time

I played it on Originaland at Full Screen, it's only an i5 with dual cores and hyper threading but it handled it.
