I remember these vividly! The network (CBS) have gotten tried of broadcasting reruns of "The Lucy Show", "The Beverly Hillbillies", and "Family Affiair" and went back to running daytime game shows. "The Joker's Wild" (10am ET) with Jack Barry, "The (then) New Price Is Right" with Bob Baker, and "Gambit" with Wink Martindale. All three became monster big hits. "The Price Is Right" outlived them all.
I still remember being disappointed about the first two seasons supposedly being destroyed, and hoped that GSN would at least air the last season. If I ever meet the person who found the first two seasons at CBS 2 in New York, I am definitely going to thank them.

Sometime around late 1977.

I think it was during the 1979-80 season. Note the "wind-up" sound effect used for the bonus round.

The premiere was on the fourth of September 1972.

The only place I saw that clip was in the SGSA montage that had it. I didn't hear a sound there.
