Hi kevin, when is it a good idea to push your queen/king pawn further up. (you pushed d4 to d5).... I was under the impression that it leads to a less sound position..
I felt like my knight was very nicely placed. When I am attacking my opponent and I have most of my pieces involved and am going for a checkmate I don't want to trade off pieces. I honestly thought I could find a checkmate soon at the position. The game ended up going a lot longer than I had envisioned by I wanted to keep the pressure on him and not give up my knight at the moment.
Keep in mind though it's a blitz so I was not playing perfect but that's at least my reasoning for it.

on 8:30 you could have won the pawn by taking with the knight the bishop and after he takes with the queen u take the pawn on g4

When u traded off your light squared bishop instead if you brought your queen to h5 you would have had check mate

@8:13 If you wanted to trade off, wouldn't Nxd6 have been better? And after Qxd6 play Qc5+ forcing the queen exchange.

When you first put your knight on b6, he never moved the rook
