  • 1. Alan Page (MVP)

    2. Deacon Jones

    3. Reggie White

    4. Merlin Olsen

    5. John Randle

  • PAGE - Won MVP from DT position. Randy White? Merlon Olsen?

  • are you fucking kidding me man, no warren sapp, this list is retarded!

  • #1 deacon jones #2 mean joe

  • Comment removed

  • good list, but you forgot alan page. glad to see john randle in there because he's been underrated his whole life.

  • Good list.

  • Reggie is the best all around Dlineman ever he also played Dtackle and was a beast there too, he was unstoppable, Deacon is secon because he is the best pass rusher hands down, and bruce and then mean joe, after that it doesnt matter lol!

  • Here's the real list from someone who's seen them. #1. Deacon Jones #2. Alan Page 3#. Mean Joe #4 Reggie White #5. Carl Eller . Go to Pro Football Reference and find out why Page, Eller, Marshall & Larsen were the greatest line to ever play together.

  • @MrJunktrunker anyone who puts joe greene before reggie white is stupid, your stupid. look up the stats and highlights

  • Where the fuck is RANDY WHITE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Solid list!

  • WTF wheres Charles Hailey!!!!!!!!

  • @TheJuanmedia maybe he went 11!

  • John Randle should be higher then 7 no DT has more sacks then him and he could play the run.

  • What??? you really need watch more teams, not only black and blue division.

Hey you remenber Olsen and Akins, R white. com'om Kevin G. Jack Y. this top 10 not list 10 defensive lineman. Lineman. maybe D freeney. hey Mark Gastineau.

  • Joe Greene in my opinion is the best, but thats my opinion. I mean he took a dead beat franchise in the steelers and made the steel curtain ( 74' draft class helped alot too). If he got held, he wouldn't complain to the refs about it like todays players, He's punch you in the face or kick you in your stomach. Thats what I like to see but with Goodell doing waht he's doing, almost all the great players from back then would be thrown out of the league. He's ruining football.

  • Randy White? Mike Stahan? Jim Marshall?

  • Bob Lily at 5? No Merlin Olsen? Bruce Smith higher than Deacon?

    List is a joke.

  • shut up with the where is this and where is that just watch the video its just his opinion so shut up

  • Where is Alan Page? It is a tough list to make though, and every one of your guys I would say they were great! Why isnt Kevin Green in the HOF? Chris Doleman? Jim Marshall is the biggest crime! The HOF should be ashamed.

  • Deacon Jones is number one by far. Reggie White was great but Deacon if you listen to what people said in that time could have destroyed Bruce Smiths record

  • Youngblood instead of Page?

  • Alan Page was voted MVP. C'mon.

  • Nope, can't leave out Alan Page, just can't.

  • list is sukkish

  • chris doleman also.

  • this is good list. I think the top 3 are the 3 best. however would have been nice to see merlin olsen and alan page. other than that there isnt much to complain about. john randle is the greatest pass rushing DT ever.

  • Haloti ngata, suh.. you can't be serious about putting all these young guys into the top 10 of all time. There not even close yet. But how about Strahan, LC Greenwood, Randy White, Alan Page.

  • You gotta include Doug Atkins of the Bears....

  • Sacks arnt how you judge a d line man just because he dosnt get a sack dosnt mean he's badder than some one if he gets behind the offensive line and blows the play up [ deflecting a pass or forcing a fumble] , or if he elemenates the run game that could be just as effective as an sack.

  • i wuldnt put bruce smith that high

  • i loved watching john randle and reggie white try to outdo each other on sundays. reggie is the best i ever saw though.

  • suh #1

  • Reggi White #1

  • @KalouAndJay bahahaha i've truly pissed you off!!! *pats self on back* so long, emo kid

  • Where is Vince Wilfork?

  • @darthvadersanus at mcdonalds.

  • @KalouAndJay sure, simpleton. stick to figure skating. bruce has the most sacks in nfl history but u think he's over-rated. derrrp FAIL hahahah what a moron!!!

  • man you suck at this. Where is Michael Strahan?

  • Micheal Dean Perry? Merlin Olson? Dexter Menley? Charles Mann? Warren Sapp? Dan Hampton? Howie Long? Lyle Alzado? That's the toughest thing about listing d-linemen. As soon as you create one, someone deserving is going to be off the list. Even Joe Klecko, Arthur Donavan, and Gino Marchetti should be mentioned.

  • Michael Strahan?

  • @KalouAndJay what?! 200 sacks don't lie, kid. learn football

  • No Warren Sapp? Seriously?

  • The bottom of your list was 'weak', IMHO, ... but I can't argue much with your top 7 or so.

  • Kelsay Signs Contract Extension

  • You need a wider perspective. You have missed many deserving lineman. Perhaps the best of all, Doug Atkins.

  • I just wish sacks were recorded earlier.

  • Where's Alan Page?

  • I'll take Randy White over John Randall, Kevin Green, Carl Eller, and Lee Roy Selmon any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

  • GrantMerrill I like your list but what about Merlin Olsen? The man went to 14 pro bowls and even his colleague Deacon Jones said he was the best ever. So why no Merlin Olsen?

  • No Randy White and 2 linebackers dude? Not legitimate list.

You just lost your man card.

  • Randy White is the best of all time....This is not up discussion.

  • you started off with a linebacker!

  • Rich Jackson?

  • @JBott7 You know who Rich Jackson was? Or are you asking? Dr. Z said he was the best defensive end ever. Are you a broncos fan? Just curious.

  • @bluehighwaysfan I certainly know who Tombstone Jackson is, as I am a diehard Broncos fan. I'm just wondering why he's not on this list.

  • RANDY WHITE!!!

  • Nice list....I like Selmon in the mix....absolute monster on one of the worst teams in history....

  • hell yeah , tons of number 75's and 74 my numbers bwhahhaha

  • JARED FUCKING ALLEN!

  • I would say 10.Alan Page 9.Merlin Olson 8.Doug Atkins 7.Howie Long 6.Deacon Jones 5.Michael Strahan 4.Reggie White 3.Bruce Smith 2.Joe Greene 1.William Perry
  • hello?

    alex karras!?

  • Joe Greene should at least be in top 5 not #10

  • were is richard dent at least top 5 and bruce smith is better than reggie white bruce smith has the sack record with 200 look it up on nfl,com

  • and i mean he may not be that old but kris jenkins is a freakin beast!!!

  • where is lawrence taylor? he played DL and LB he's one of the best ever

  • where the hell is Jim Marshall?

Who cares if he "Ran the wrong way"

He's the iron man of the NFL

  • Strahan was a DE.

  • Good list but here's mine: 1. Reggie White 2. Deacon Jones 3. Bob Lilly 4. Joe Greene 5. Gino Marchetti 6. Alan Page 7. Merlin Olsen 8. Bruce Smith 9. Michael Strahan 10. Randy White
  • can't argue too much, i like the #1, but there are a few players more deserving of that list. alan page? howie long? michael strahan? to name a few..... and as for ALBERT HAYNESWORTH!!!!! you are retarded

  • WHERE IS ALBERT HAYNESWORTH!!!!!!!

  • Where's Michael Strahan, Gino Marchetti? Deacon is the ultimate pass rusher.

  • reggie white is #1 deacon should be the top 5 but not 1 look at the records and wheres got damn strahan he lead the league in sacks many time

  • 1-4 were good, kevin greene shouldn't be there he was more of a lb. what about randy white, alan page, jim marshel, howie long

  • MICHEAL STARHAN he has the god damn sack record

  • nice vid, but where is jack ham

  • jack ham is a LB

  • i agree with reggie white being #1 but #2 i think should be decon jones, and strahan should be somewhere in the top ten ,thats just my opinion

  • i would have to disgree and say hes a raider fan cuz most of his list have them overrated, but fer this its deacon jones #1 and its not even close. and wheres ur linebacker list i dont think there is one dont you dare have anyone #1 except LT haha

  • bull fucking shit you put john randle on it but not strahan? you are a fucking viking's fag.

  • Where's Richard Dent and Dan Hampton?

  • wheres dexter manley or charrles mann

  • no point putting dexter manley on the list, he couldn't read the list anyway

  • deacon is #1 he invented the sack

  • Wheres strahan not #1 but definatly top 10

  • What happened to Randy White?

  • COME dude Deacon number 1

  • Deacon Jones has to be number one

  • JarheadMarines14 is totally right. In Freeney's first four years he was so dominant. When people face the Colts they worry about Manning first, Freeney second. Freeney doesn't get many opportunities for sacks because he is either double teamed or triple teamed.

  • so?... dude all the gr8 pass rusher was always atleast double teamed, i have seen both reggi and deacon beat 3 blockers and get the sack

  • Go Purple People Eaters!!!

  • deacon jones should be number 1

  • richard dent is the most underrated defensive lineman EVER!! he has more sacks than michael strahan, who is "a for sure hall of famer," it's total BS.

  • Derrick Thomas?????????????????

  • where the hell is Alan Page? You can't really put Eller on the list without putting Page on it.

  • i am sorry but deacon jones in no.1. they changed the DAMN rules because of him.

  • what about dwight freeny

  • is this serious?

  • I am a defensive tackle and I am hoping to join the nfl after high school. But I dont know how to prepere for it. So I work really hard and still am not the best on my team. But I am second.

  • wheres howie long dubass hes better than lee roy selmon

  • sorry dude Deacon jones will always be number1

  • 1.joe greene

    2.reggie white

    3.deacon jones

  • Bruce smith is overrated. Sacks aren't everything.

  • Jack Youngblood did pay SB in 79 with 2 broken legs

  • he also played with a snapped tibia in the playoffs

  • 1 Deacon Jones

    2 Reggie White

    3 Mean Joe Green

    4 Bruce Smith

    5 Carl Eller

    6 Jon Randle

    7 Richard Dent

    8 MErlin Olsen

    9 Randy White

    10 Kevin Greene

  • What about Randy White?

  • @thebulletdodger47 yea i agree. believe it or not but i met Randy White and Eugene Lockhart at one of his football camps yesterday. he looks like he can still beast it up on the field

  • 5-Lee Roy Salmon

    4-Joe Green

    3-Reggie White

    2-Deacon Jones

    1-michael strahan

  • this is a nice list i dont know if i would put kvein green in there but it was a good list. No doubts Reggie white is #1.

  • agree kevin was more of a linebacker,i'd put charles haley there

  • Ok guys i just wanna put in some quick info. Bruce smith hade 200 sacks wow! Thats nice. But he played 18 seasons reggi white hade 194 is 13 seasons. 200 sacks is the official record. But the man that invented the name sack Deacon jones him self ( Best lineman ever hands down) Said he hade 225, and he have told ppl that a good while be4 bruce got 200. If you ask any of the players back in his time they will says he hade 225 sacks. The qbs will sure says it

  • 10-kevin green

    9-Jack Youngblood

    8-Carle Eller

    7-Jon Randle

    6-Bob Lilly

    5-Lee Roy Salmon

    3-Reggie White

    2-Deacon Jones

    1-Bruce Smith
