Nice piece of engineering with advantages and disadvantages. Advantage at higher speeds since the CG does not shift side to side going over bumps. Body stays relatively level if left side goes over a bump because right side suspension is not affected by the motion of left side. This is reason for IFS in racing trucks where stability at high speeds is key. This design advantage can be problem for rock crawling where you want the CG shift to occur to keep weight on the tire and maintain traction.
I would love to see your vehicles compete in King Of The Hammers, this would end any debate about the CG or independent susp. I am not opposed to Independent .suspension. I love good engineering, and the only way to compare what is good or not is to put them against each other. in King Of the Hammers, All the best.
