This makes me smile. She's so cute...AND talented! I know you're so proud of her. She is so inspiring. Thanks for putting this up and showing that 'handicapped' people aren't really handicapped. (The REAL handicapped people are the ones who troll vids like this in order to leave nasty comments. I haven't read the other comments yet, but unless you moderate them there are certain to be some. I'm in love with your daughter though. What spirit, what joy. Thanks again for sharing her.
you can find another, recent you tube video of Carrissa skiing called "Carrissa and Carl racing". It's only 13 seconds long but that's all this girl needs to show her amazing spirit!
WoW!! she is awesome, she really inspires me. I had Meningococcemia when I was five months, I was blessed, I did not lose any of my limbs, all I have to deal with is a couple of scars here and there on my body, from skingraphing. I am now 24 years old and greatfull.
Thanks. Last spring I went to her choir concert (she loves singing); I really wish I had a video camera with me. I'll try to capture another moment sometime.
beautiful survivor!. My daugher also survived this devistating disease. And i praise the children who can bring happiness to the world after all this. You are beautiful!!
im a student nurse and currently studying meningo for my report, and i came across this vid, and i really cried... carissa made me appreciate my life and my family more than ever,
she's inspires me and all of the other peeps who have watches the vid...
she's very bless with such great talent and a loving family...
thank you for sharing this,
this will be on my fav, so that if time comes when im kinda down, this wud lighten me up..
Clearly, a beautiful and talented girl from a warm and especially loving family. Carrissa is not just exceptionally skilled but possesses this wonderful persona that is infectious and particularly lifting.
I truly admire Clarrissa for her inner beauty. Clarrissa is even more beautiful on the outside and, as a veteran youth basketball coach, I wish my kids had only a percentage of her talent.
Keep doing what you love to do, Clarrissa! You really inspire me.
