i got the same subs and my amp fell on the plastic part right where the yellow logo is and left a scratch i didnt hook them up yet but i was wondering would that little scratch affect the quality of sound?

you should put your box with the speakers facing up...because the depth of the box is only 13in rather than the 17 in width...i have a ford ranger and the same box thats what i did and it saved room

Kicker is a good brand.the comps are the bottom line of kicker.these subs here are what made kicker famous for the hard hittin shit they make now.but i dont roll with kicker subs.all i use is amps from them.they are really good to.my system will smash pretty much anyones on here.i have 6 esclipse 15s 3000 watts per sub.runnin on a high class 10 thousand watt kicker warhorse amp.you can hear me all around town.videos will be up tommrow:)

kicker is good. but Q power is cheaper and wayyyyy better. I put some q powers on layaway but i wanted to change to some more expensive 15 inch kickers vs 12 inch q powers. The audio guys were like, why would u do that? q power is better. for 99 i get a box and 2 q power 12s. thats cheaper then 1 kicker sub.

@33river You can surpass the RMS, its actually suggested in some cases. Because if you start pushing your amp it will send unclean waves to the Sub and can be just as harmful as over powering it

There pretty good if your first starting out or don't want to spend a whole lot of money. There 150watts RMS which is alright. I sold them (sub and amp) and stepped up to a 12" L5 which is 600RMS.

I have a Kicker CompVT shallow enclosure and it's loud. It doesn't have that drone to it; no distortion, just LOUD as in high volume. I don't go for the bump; sounds like the gains are up way too high.
