@HB3ZZY its the Rolls Royce model. Rolls Royce uses the more powerful RB-211, (my favorite engine) which has a deraritive that powers many 757's. That is why the engine has a solid outer shell, however if you disect it, you'll find the afterburner and all the normal jet engine parts.
@HB3ZZY There are different types of engines and it is up to the airline to decide what kind they want to use on their planes when they order them. The most common are Rolls Royce, GE, or Pratt & whitney. I think BA uses the Rolls Royce.
