  • God Bless Petra and E525 for this song being here. More Power To Ya. And to the SchaefReport, Jesus loves you.

  • Godbless every person looking for our saviour Jesus Christ yashua!!

  • More power to ya when your standing on His Word - when your trusting with your whole heart in the message you have heard. Words to live by.

  • one of my favorite songs, one of the best ways I can think of to tell the congregation of a church to mind their own business!

  • @TheSchaefReport Show me the wind. If you can't do that then I'll just go ahead and assume it"s not real.

You see, we know the wind is real because even though we can't see it, we can feel it and we can see the effect it has on everything around us. That's the way God is. We know He's there because we feel it within us and we see the effect He has on everything around us.

Obviously there's more to it than that, but I just thought I would kindly respond to your statement. I hope this helps.

  • @jwend001 Iappreciate the attempt, but no it didn't help. At least I can feel the wind.. I can't feel your god. You claim to know the nature of god but you only "know" this from a book you read. You're not basing anything on actual experience (i.e. the 5 senses). Emotional experiences don't mean a thing since we create those ourselves.

  • @TheSchaefReport Christianity is a religion.. but being Christian is a relationship to God.. You'll not see God because you don't have the Word in you. I can show you God. God is everywhere. We(believers) are God because we are part of him by Spirit and by Faith and we manifest Jesus in us, He reign in us through our lives. You will not see Him because your spirit is manifesting Satan's spirit that's why. God bless you dude! May Jesus have mercy on you.

  • Why the hell are you arguing about religion on youtube people ??? its a good song so just enjoy it

  • @Dakhaven They are not arguing about religion, they are discussing the existence of Jesus Christ-God.

That one is sharing and witnessing their faith in the living Saviour, Jesus the Lord!

    The Lord Bless Ya!...:)

  • Thank You for posting this beautiful & wonderful song!!! :)

  • christianity is a lie.

  • @TheSchaefReport -show me how you think its a lie.

  • @E525 Show me god first. If you can't do that then I'll go ahead and assume it's a lie.

  • @TheSchaefReport But that's a cowardly way to argue. You make a rebuttal but present no evidence to back it up.

  • @E525 No. A cowardly way to argue is asking someone to disprove a negative. For example: I think the Lochness Monster died for my sins. If you can't pove he didn't, then you lose.

  • @TheSchaefReport You scoffers are proof of Christ's testimony. If most people were Christians, then Christ would be proven a liar.

  • @ddddcinc Wow. That's deep.

  • @TheSchaefReport So is the manure you wallow in :)

  • @ddddcinc wait, could you explain that last bit?

  • @dudemanio Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

From that verse, it is obvious that most people do not believe in Christ.

  • @ddddcinc if most people were cristians, it'd be fantastic, brother. is true that a lot of people are just christian by name alone, and are therefore not gonna pass through the narrow gate, but we are all meant to be saved by grace. it's our choice for it to not be like that, not by God's predestination, that most people aren't christian

  • @E525 No one, not even top phycisits can hold proof that the lord exist or doesn't exit.

It is up to each person to decide wether they can benefit from faith, or do not. I personally

believe that religion gives me great satisfaction, but that does not mean the lord truly exists.

  • @TheSchaefReport show me your brain and let me touch it, then i'll believe you have one.

  • @Kanai75 Jesus wouldn't approve of your harsh comment toward me. Now go and repent.

  • @TheSchaefReport I have more than a harsh comment for people like you. A punch in the mouth, then I may think of repenting. I am sure I won't though.

  • @Kanai75 Send me a PM. We'll decide a meet up spot, then you can fly out here and punch me in the mouth tough guy. I hope you're "right with the lord" though, because you'll probably be meeting him soon.

  • @TheSchaefReport I can't show you God directly because we cannot see into the Spirit Realm, but I can show you his promises and His prophecy. How come in modern day, we have found pieces of the ark on Mount Arab(some one correct me if I'm wrong on mount) and pieces of chariots at the bottom of the Red Sea? How about fish bones on Mount Everest(The Flood)? The whole world is turning against Israel, just like the Bible said that after Egypt was gone(Government has been broken).

  • @TheSchaefReport

That's not how science works. In science you either falsify, or not. If it can't be tested, we can't now anything about it. Therefore we cannot objectively know if the lord exists.

  • @TheSchaefReport Can you show me the wind? You can show the effects of the wind (trees swaying, leaves blowing, etc.), but can't show the wind. I see the effects of god regularly in the beauty of his creations and in the lives of godly people, but have never seen his face.

  • @TheSchaefReport Show me the wind and if you can't I'll go ahead and assume it doesn't exist.

  • @TheSchaefReport Atheist fanatic. Yes you are more of a religious zealot with your Godlessness then anyone here.

  • @smn3675 Prove that statement you just made.

  • @TheSchaefReport Well, you actually have taken the time to listen to a praise and worship song by a Christian Rock band, and then proceed to argue against the message and try to convert people away from Christianity. Seems quite militant to me. I don't go looking for secular songs and do what you do. if you have so much time on your hands that you go around listening to stuff that's offensive to you, perhaps you should consider joining debate club instead.

  • @smn3675 @smn3675 where's the love for your neighbor in you answer??? aren't you supposed to be the one who's different? and don't diss them out? and actually, you SHOULD be going to secular songs and doing exactly that... don't you think?

  • @TheSchaefReport how so?

  • @TheSchaefReport Shame on you. Then your life is a lie. Seek God and not religion. He(GOD) is the truth and the light.....NOT man.

  • Made this song my answering machine outgoing message, back in the day of tape answering machines. Ticked off my unsaved family members to have to listen to it was the upshot. These tunes will take their proper place in heaven, when the Lord will be stokin' the star maker machinery behind the popular PRAISE song.

  • Ok totally was just crying listening to this. Whatever happened to this sort of Christian rock that actually focuses on the Lord and His power in times of trouble, instead of whining to him? Love it. Thanks for uploading.

  • This was one of the first songs I heard after I became born again,Larry Norman was the first christian CD I bought. Actually I think it was on cassette tape.

  • This song brings back a lot of memories...I seen Petra 3 times in concert...the first show I saw had Greg X Volz singing lead with his hair really long...I Love Petra and all of thier songs.

  • @billpikebuffalo me too! Saw them 3 times in the 80's They had a big influence on my walk with the Lord. Funny thing, I haven't heard this song for 20 plus years yet sang right along with it like it was nothing. Love that lol

  • I really like both eras of Petra. Both are good for different reasons. It really just depends if I'm in the mood for seriously hard rock or slightly toned down. A band for all seasons!

  • Classic Petra is back!! New album out and tour starts this year!! If you like classic Petra please vote for them in the reader choice awards .com poll

  • @oidogiigoirhmngoirhg your kidding right? wow thats awesome, with greg too?

  • @unsplintered No not kidding! Check out there web site classicpetra. com

  • gloria a Dios, Cristo vive.

  • I've heard of Petra before but I never heard of this song before.

It sounds awesome! At first, I thought it was going to be a rock song until I started listening to it. Either way, this mellow song still sounds awesome.

I had to listen to this song again because it's so enjoyable and awesome to listen to! :)

  • Thanks, I really needed the blessing of this song right here and right now. Glad I ran across it. There are no coincidences with the LORD!

  • This song has some strength in the roots of the word. Brings back a lot of memories for me too

  • Thanks...I needed that!

  • This album was my first Christian rock album, and Judas' kiss was the first song I heard on it. =o) way back in '83 I think.

  • A wonderful song. I had just been called to the ministry when I heard this for the first time. The great peacefulness of this song had stayed with me for many years now. One of the greats. I also love a lot of the old Way ministry groups.

  • It's my favorite song.

  • I used to only listen to secular rock (acdc, rat, iron maiden,etc.). I didn't know about JESUS (Christian) rock. I would never listen to mellow songs. One day I heard this song. The music caught my ear and the lyrics captured my soul. That night I gave up secular music and decided to use everything I had for the LORD!

  • CLASSIC PETRA tour coming. Greg X Volz, Bob Hartman, Louie Weaver, John Lawry, Mark Kelley. Look for it.

  • @oidogiigoirhmngoirhg that would be great if that would happen, i would but tickets for that classic petra. :-)

  • I miss when I was a young Christian, growing up in a Charismatic church youth group who sponsored Petra to come to our sanctuary. It was 82/83. Long before I knew my Race was under threat of extinction. I was so loved in my church family. Now I'm fueled by Hate.I've seen that most "people" are really animals full of violence and drugs. I see that nothing good, not even Christ, could come from the Jews.I wish I could wake up in 82 and the last 25 years: A bad dream. I miss love so much. 14/88

  • don't give up hope brother God will make the world a better place at His coming just have faith the world is becoming a wicked place because of our sin but there is nothing to worry about God will save when He comes back :D

  • It saddens me to see that you have been filled with hate, man. Why are you so angry? God still loves you.......

  • @ThorOdinson14 "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up." (James 4:7-10)

  • Stop looking to "Man" for answers. Man betrayed God. Man betrayed you. ...Submit to God. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. /James 4:7-10

  • Paise Jesus.

  • A Wonderful, Renewel Song !

  • God gave rock and roll to ya, history makers thanks Petra, when we where singing this little light of mine, Amen thanks.

  • I haven't heard this song for many years.

It helped me allot in the past, thanks for the upload.

  • I just had a flashback to singing this song with my dad and brother as a special at church oh so many years ago! It's still awesome

  • I heard this song back in 1983 and cried my eyes out....I had been locked up in prison and this song was just what I needed to hear.......also road to zion.

I still cry when I hear it.....it touches my heart.

  • what did you go to prison for?

  • @rwt0 ...I praise God for your deliverance. Stay strong and God bless!

  • @rwt0 i think that was the goal, it got to me today and i couldn't help but break down

  • Man I love this tune and it refreshes me to hear it again

  • Wow, I didnt appreciate this enough when I was 11 years old. Praise the Lord.

  • Yes we are kept by the power of God

    Thanks from New Zealand..

  • You may or may not be correct, but you destroy your message with your graceless delivery.

  • @jonikpel hmmm?? hadn't heard this in awhile-and was wondering what you meant by the comment? hope your week is phenomenal!!

  • The "great falling away" has to happen. We shouldn't marvel.

  • This brings a bit of a tear to my eye - the Greg Volz version of Petra was one of my friend Shawn's favorite bands. It's been almost ten years since he passed away from a sudden heart attack.

  • They were amazing, to be sure.

  • yes they (Petra) were the band that brought me along the path of of my newly aquired Salvation

  • Ditto here. Their song Annie helped me during my suicidal period as a teen. And yes Christians can get down enough to contemplate sucide and yes it can take YEARS to defeat those thoughts and yes the thoughts can still plague you at times of deep grief, doubt and sorrow.

You just gotta keep plugging away one day at a time!

  • Hey, does anybody know where I can get a Not of This World T-shirt?

  • Song is truly a blessing.

  • Oh! Memories of my church youth group and church camp. I love that God gives us the gift of remembering our innocence....

  • Brings back teenage memories!

  • A powerful song.

  • great song, actually!!!
