Odd....All the 5 cyl Audis I've owned will stop running when the cap is removed. Part of the Jetronic closed system. If the cam was bent, it'd snap, as the metal is really brittle. The part that seems to wobble is a casting. No worries. It wouldn't last 5 minutes if it was bent. That's my opinion. Cheers. Paul. NZ.
