My neighbor just got one of these. I personally thik they copied the BMW X6 as far as style.

This is not an American car. Its Japanese. By saying its a design by Acura north America doesn't make it American. Its a Car. Its not a person. It cannot vote. LOL and cannot apply for citizenship. This Acura ZDX is designed by Acura North America teams. So, it's an American car by any means. The styling is a split image of BMW's X6. It's a ridiculous car by it's niche targeted market. The back seat is for children only, due to its low-slung roof line.

The Chinese car makers have Cherry and Jeelee in the US market, which run from $5,000. If anybody buys a Chinese product, expect Chinese quality. It's made for a super-mass market. My question would be: Why did you buy it in the 1st place?

You have to see Acura's in person to realize that it is actually great styling. In magazines, pictures, and videos the car doesn't have the effect it does in person. Acura is a much better value than BMW, except for BMW's free maintainence. But, my family has owned 3 Acura's. Never a single issue with any of them. Best cars we have ever owned.

The overall look of the vehicle is a total copy of the X6 which was the first Sports Activity Coupe to the market.

Fortunately, they put their hideous Acura front end on it to make sure people puke when they see it and there's no way anyone could mistake it for the nicely styled X6.

Wrong. German cars > Jap cars. I've owned both, will never buy an Asian car again.

Germans are unparallelled in terms of refinement and performance for the dollar. Acuras look terrible and handle like ass compared to BMW's.

Either way, the X6 was the first mass produced Sports Activity Coupe to the mass market, therefore the ZDX is a clone of the X6, and a terrible one at that.

acuras usually are FWD - why people usually dont like the handling. They have been getting good reviews however that with FWD, the handling is the best of and FWDs.

This is a SH-AWD car though, way better handing that any before. better reviews by magazine around the nation.
