@1RealityBroadcasting Everyone went home THAT TIME. But it is like skiing....... it is something that people do for fun, but do it enough times and you WILL eventually hit a tree.
I like how u come out straight up say what is done right and wrong it shows there are good bouncers out there trying to make it a safe and happy place. I will not go to a place with bouncers I am afraid of them I had one pushed me one time cause the place was crowded and someone pushed me into him he was scary I wasn't even drunk and who would push a girl come on but thank u for the input.
My thing is this. Bouncers arent bulletproof and almost are always under the assumption that no one will ever take it "that far".
Meaning waiting it out, following him home and killing him. Depending on where you are, anyone can get a weapon. And catching a bouncer off guard is relatively simple. Its the arrogant and uncontrolled ones you fear. Anyway, let that rage drive you as you watch and monitor his shifts. Find out when hes on the door and when hes not. When hes outside
When hes outside, you kill him. but make sure your shit isnt sloppy because after shots are fired, that place will be hot for a long time. Which is why before hand you need to bottle that rage and find out where the guy lives at. Again, if they fight, theyll most likely forget. And DONT threaten them. Why? you dont want the cops involved just yet. They can call the cops and then youre suspect number one. But killing them isnt as hard as people think. Also MANY bouncers think
They are invincible and they are not. You would be surprised at how your fear can be reversed when theyre staring at someone with a glock pointed at them. Not to mention their attitude is ENTIRELY different (you get the whole its just my job blah blah blah).
Dont fear them, just know what you can and will do (provided you dont loose it too early) if shit hits the fan.
@turbotoma I didn't take it as "arsey" at all. I welcome the input from other experienced bouncers. That is why I put these videos on line. Somewhere out there is a new or wanna be bouncer that may benefit from our disscussions. On another note, at least you guys still have to get certified. Here, every ex-con who just got out of prison goes strait to the nearest club or bar and gets a job bouncing without even giving his real name. You're right. It's not like it used to be here either.
(Part2) And the fact that I have his back IS the problem. If a bouncer just loses his temper, starts commiting an assult, and seriously hurts someone, he has just made me an accessory to a crime. I don't say this as someone who avoids confrontation, our job is all about confrontation. In my 17 years doing this, I have literally put my life on the line for my guys, but a bouncer who can't control himself has no respect for the danger he puts his teammates in.
@turbotoma When I said to push another bouncer off, I was talking about when a bouncer totally loses his temper and needs to be stopped before he gets us sued or thrown in jail because he can't control himself, not as a general practice. You are right about "real world" bouncing but all of these videos are with a large staff with flashlights and radios to communicate with each other, as opposed to a bar doorman who often works alone or with only one or two others. No need to do anything alone.
@Dalmakator Well, unfortunately bouncers are almost always out numbered in large veneus. It just gets dangerous when bouncers let their egos decide that they don't need backup. When available, backup is ALWAYS needed for the reasons you just stated.
Wow...this is old. I was on the door that night. This was back before we had a dedicated door guy. Hey...guess who helped out, returned back to his post, and didn't let anybody by the door while helping clean the front porch.

Over 5 years. Head doorman / Security Manager depending on venue.
I agree with your comments.(Video poster)
All removals and restraints of force are minimum of 2 man jobs per person.
1: Decreases likehood of hazzard occuring.
2: Decreases maximum hazzard potential.
3: The above 2 apply both to the security staff and the person/persons being restrained/removed.
Use of force guidlines need to be trained in on a daily basis.
