Thank you for bringing Ada Jones and Billy Murray back to life in a very special way. It takes a very special talent to capture this song in a way that it will please those who collect and treasure the original records from this long forgotten era. You and this beautiful and talented lady, have accomplished that and more. Congratulations, this will forever be placed in my favorites.
Thanks, John! It's funny that you say Harry Langdon, because with spectacles on (in the "Flipping the Whale" clips like "Jean and Sammy"), I'm told I look like Harold Lloyd! Well, I guess as long as no-one says I look like Rin-Tin-Tin.
Sean, Ha Ha! Rin Tin Tin!!! :-) I could see you as Harold Lloyd with the glasses and skimmer, but you face is rounder-like Langdon's. I'll look at the Jean and Sammy clip. Regards, J.
I was attracted by the Ada Jones and Billy Murray tag, and the minute I heard the singing, the first thing that came to mind is that Murray's vocal is coming from Langdon's mouth, which also brings to mind Joe E. Brown!
Love the vidio, and I think I have this Edison cylinder. Very good job, of re-creating vaudville. I am looking for recording artists to put out on cylinders these days.
Thank you! The work you do with wax cylinders is fascinating. As with the Lumiere camera, it's heartening to know that there are people who carry the torch in that skill.
Bravo, bravo!

A song by the wonderful early phonograph record team of Billy Murray and Miss Ada Jones, wonderfully recreated in this video. Thanks so much!!
