The moral in the stry is that ther are a lot of people out there that forget that there is a living, breathing person in with this disability and as a person I am just as capable as doing whatever it takes to survive as anyone. As professional survivors we are a force to be respected and remembered. It's getting very close to the boiling point.
You know I had a guy threaten me in my chair after I complained about him pulling acroos the sidewalk and parking.Then he said that one thing that sets me off. "What are you gonna do in that wheelchair" with a vile little smirk. A half second later he was squealing like a piggy as I was choking the life outta him. At least that's what he cried to the police. In court for the restraining order, I told my story everyone in there wanted to trottle the guy.
Thank you for documenting the fire and courage of people with disabilities. The governor thinks we are so poor, so beaten down, so starved of resources that he can take our lives away. He is playing with fire.
