  • its pronounced ki-sa-di-la

  • @devlin1991

uh.. no. "kay-suh-dee-uh" is how it's pronounced. :)

  • I think you were trying to say quesadillas "kay-sa-dee-ahs". That gave me a chuckle :-D

  • looks really good

  • I want to eat the hot plate dish. it looks so nice. and the strawberry crepe too. I love fruit, especially strawberry. I want to eat quantities of strawberry like a bathtub.

    ((≧ω≦))

  • Great food tip. Coco's definitely looks worthy of a visit.

  • god..i hate it when i see people say "American food sucks" or that "America doesn't have good food". Ignorant people thinking that America only has those mass fast food chain restaurants(i.e mcdonalds, burger king, etc).

  • I'm from Southern California so it's very strange to hear from someone knowing nothing of Spanish!! xD It's amusing, and refreshing :P

  • Damn, that looks really tasty!

Can somebody tell me what that green vegetable is at 0:30? :)

  • @Mexellya

    Its's green onions.

  • wow! O_O

    i want some!

  • quesadilla [keh-sah-dee-yahs]. hehehe, that brought a smile to my face. You should try them with a squash or pumpkin flower inside, that's how we eat them in mexico. i wonder how the Japanese pronounce quesadilla?

  • This shocked me when I saw this. Coc's is a chain of resturants in South Western part of the US. ( as you see on the locations tab on the website ) That is awesome it is out in Japan. I used to eat Cocos daily, best breakfasts ever.

Great vids, keep up the awesomeness.

  • Coco's is the best!

  • Even chain restaurant food in Japan is still great quality!

  • Dude========> The cheese and flour tortilla are called Quesadillas=====Ke--sa-dee-as.

Alll looks so yummy. Love all your videos.

I feel i know Japan already

  • P.S.:

The Crepes look SOOooooo Scrumptious..... Yum Yummm....

  • LoL!!! best just to pronounce it as basically being:

(Case'a'diah).... thats pretty much how its pronounced "Piece a cake"

Even if they say the'yre called: Quesadilla......LOLOLOLOLzzzzz

  • As I mentioned in another video, I had no idea Cocos existed outside the US. Sure looks like they have tastier menu than a US location would. As pitiful as that pizza looked they don't even serve those at the Cocos here.

Never mind Japan, I suppose Australia doesn't really have any Mexican influenced food? It is pronounced kay suh DEE yuh.

  • thank you for making me cheat on my diet.

  • and this is the presentation at a chain restaurant.... oh america... why can't you be more like japan?

  • In the U.S, you would see skillet plates with fajita for stake dishes.

  • it's pronounced as KEH-SAH-DIH-YAHS

  • quesaliada. LOL

  • First time i watch this food videos while im stuffed allready, i tell you it is a good idea.

  • けさぢあ!

  • these videos make me think that the north America sucks.

  • @Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh What about this video makes you think that? There's nothing North American about it. This is called the Japan Channel which posts videos about Japan in Japan. It's probably the comments people are leaving that are influencing your opinion in this case.

  • @Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh LOL, yeah ... our food just isn't as good a quality, is it?

  • @Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh it does suck xD i lived in North America too long. i wana go to Japan so badly... especially after seeing all these yummy foods xD

  • @Aaaaarrrrrrggghhh lol it dose!

  • your pronunciation of quesadilla (kay-sa-D-ya) slayed me! thanks.

  • oh god... this must be a heaven in mouth....

  • I love the gravy on top of fried rice dish. It makes it not too dry. Strawberry crepe looks absolutely gorgeous.

  • My friend in Honolulu is hooked on Curry House...have you gone there yet? He says the sauce is divine.

  • That strawberry crepe indeed looks yummy!

    *stealaglancetothepackofbreadandstrawberryjambesideme*

And lol at the "...that yumminess to that yumminess over there.." xD

  • It would be great to hear what the waitress said as the food was served, and the explanation of how to eat it. ...though getting permission and all would be a pain, I'm sure.

  • I dont want to see boring pizza or mexican food in Japan. can you eat real japanese meals for yourself? that rice w/vegetable topping look yummy!

  • @KewpieGirl

How can you tell him what he should eat? Does someone telling you what should you eat?

  • @blasko0 Because he always ordered many individual pizza, if you look up or watch all of his video CAREFULLY u will see that he shows many food and what he ordered. got it?

  • that looked so yummy!!

  • quesadilla! lol

  • 俺は食事してデザートとか無理だけど、欧米人はデザートも食事の内なんですね。

    体格の違いはこの辺からも。

  • The desert is just plain epic.

  • In english it could be pronounced like "Kay-sa-dee-ya" but it's easier and even more correct pronunciation in japanese, it would be "Kesadiya" けさぢや

  • "Quesadilla!"

Haha, remember that lion commercial when they're arguing over the word "Carnesada?" Haha, Caaarnnyeeesadah.

  • Oh quesadilla haha. You sounded more like croissant crossed some name of a greek sweet I heard of the other day

  • I hate those brown and olive plates.

  • *ahem* It is a "quesadilla" but what the hey just call it a pie most of the snack stuff passes for pies in Japan anyways.

  • kay sah dee ah! lol

  • K saw deee yaaa

  • Strawberry crapes must be a big thing in Japan.. Ive seen tons of people lately they've been eatting them. Not really sure if that just lately or not though..

  • Kay Sa DEE Yah!

  • Mexican food is my favorite kind of food in the world. I could eat Mexican food for every meal. I feel bad for those that don't have it in their country. Anyway, Spanish is actually similar to Japanese, in that the vowels are pronounced only one way. Q makes a K sound and double L's makes a Y sound. The U is kind of cut off, like the U in すき. So, "Quesadilla" is similar to ケサヂヤ or クエサヂヤ if you cut off the u sound.

  • @Aizakku27 Hey forgive the assumption but would you possibly be able to tell me how to say (in Japanese) "Student H., reporting for duty. Good morning, professor." I'd appreciate it b/c I want to joke w/ my teacher.

  • @571jans I tried to send you a message on YouTube, but it says you've locked people from sending you messages. I am still not that great at Japanese, so I might not be much help. But, I can try if you can accept messages.

  • @Aizakku27 Thanks for your help, I can accept the message now!

  • I love you, man, but I nearly died when you tried to pronounce that.

  • that's a "quesadilla", "quesa" comes from "queso" which means cheese in Spanish, and "dilla" comes from "tortilla" which is that thing that wraps the cheese up. It's a very typical mexican dish...actually I think I'm gona eat some of those for dinner...suddenly I felt really hungry watching this video...

  • @rafaechizen actually its not typical in mexico it was created in other place not Mexico

  • @AlexTheGreatJr Not typical in Mexico? No way, this is really typical in Mexico, for some people it's a daily food! And it was 100% originated in Mexico

  • you've got quite a big stomach eating all those things, but then again, they look delicious!

  • instead of putting parsley on the ice cream they should have added a peppermint leaf. ^.^

  • Pass on the rest but that crepe looked good!

  • WHERE IS THIS PLACE D:

  • Yeah there are plenty of Coco's out here in California. :)

  • That strawberry dessert was...whatever...point is, I'm hungry and I want one now!

  • I think that was a Quesadilla! Haha, besides that all other foods look so Tasty!!

  • Kaee Saaa deee yaa :)

  • its Quesadilla and you say it like this KE SA DE YA

  • @Jqueline186 Whats he know about Mexican food hes an Aussie so its ok :-)

  • @Jqueline186 this made me laugh so hard hahahaha

  • You are just awesome. I can't wait till we move there in March. You have been so helpful and your videos always make my day!

  • The things on your plate are pronounced. KAY sah Deee ah. My kids make them all the time.

  • food pron!!

  • I have started a Veggie/fruit Juice fast in an attempt to loose a lot of weight. I hope to do it for at least 30 days and try to go to 60. I juice 2 times a day and add some unsweetened soy milk for added protein. I would eat the vegetarian version of that stuff when I come off this fast. All save the desert, I would get whatever fresh fruit they have.

  • Man those Coco's are everywhere I looked up their menu ....it made me hungry lol

I think pizza Is all over the world as a fast food or item in places.

Ps you all see he is posting some of the stuff on ebay.... shipping is what you would expect from japan high but that is cool stuff and we can help out tho house handyman work by buying up those neat japanese items. I'm waiting to see what else will be put up yay.

I wonder if he would consider doing it with a requested type of item..like candy

  • that's a quick sauce made from strawberries and sugar in a pan

  • Everything looks incredible!!!

  • Omg! that desert looks extreamly tasty! ^^

  • That plate doesn't look so hot. (Starts to pour soup on). O_O

・ Salisbury steak baked in parcel

    ・ Breakfast buffet

and of course, as shown in this video, their desserts are awesome as well :)

  • kay-suh-dee-uh

Is that what you were trying to say? lol

  • Thank you for the video, thumbs up. I would want to eat everything but the pizza.
