I agree the poster is amazing, it's actually one of my favorite images, though I always have to do a double take because I keep thinking Poison Ivy has her hand on Harley's ass XD

I'm sorry, man, you're wrong. Adam's drawing's are spot on, even down to the "man hands". if we're to believe these women are as athletic & physically fit as the male heroes then they're going to have wider shoulders & hands that aren't danty.Look at real fitness models JamieEason, DianaChaloux or Laila Ali. Bodies adjusted to lifting body weight & iron.Ladies of DC also punch,block, n kick all damn day, they better have fighter's hands/feet after all of that.I couldn't get into if they didn't.

@gurlycirl2010 Fantasy aside,as someone who draws u know how hard drawing hands/feet can be no matter how talented u are. The images we create are often imperfect b/c we are imperfect.Or look at it this way, real hands, feet, & bodies are often slighty stubby,too long, assymetrical,etc & the characters though they represent an ideal are meant to look as realistic as they can. Beautiful but imperfect.

hahaha all of your comments about the hands made me wonder if you've ever acutally seen a woman's hands up close. Like, for real, our hands are like perfect little dainty fingers and all elegant. That doesn't mean they're "man-hands" they're just... normal. Except poison ivy. I see what you're saying about her hands.

stop critiquing every minor detail. there is no such thing as a perfect drawing. you complained about Poison Ivy having man hands, then about Batwoman's wrist looking weird, then about how Super Girl's toe was "abnormaly" short, then wished her big toe was pudgier. fuck, i could understand if the eyes were out of proportion, or if one leg was longer then the other. For $9 you got yourself a work of art. theres a reason why AH is a highly paid artist, and you're just some bum on youtube

I stood in line for almost 2 hours at Comic Con this year to meet Adam Hughes and paid for sketch from the man. The comments I made was just constructive and not really negative. Shit, I'm an artist and performer to my own right. After I'm drumming on stage, you don't think I hear people tell me what they liked or didn't like? Of course I hear it!

you being an artist or performer doesnt justify you picking apart the smallest details. if anything, you should know better, because what you said wasn't contructive at all, because constructive criticism leaves the person with advice on how to better any previous flaws. i apologize for calling you a bum, but i find it annoying when someone looks for the smallest detail to make a fuss about. im an ilustrator as well, so maybe you can understand why this would annoy me.

@ShartimusPrime Right on man. You don't sound like such an asshole. Both my brother and I, and our best friend grew up drawing every day. One of my other best draws the Morning Glories covers for Image and just got a contract with Marvel. Basically, I'm around a lot of artists that are constantly throwing very detailed comments around, which I think is good. I just put up a video of a custom action figure I spent 3 days making and gave it the same kind of brutal criticism.

At the time the poster was released (2008), Batwoman had too few appearances, we didn't know she had short hair - That was added later, when her storyline started in Detective Comics. Also, her name's right there in the poster, there's a roll call at the right bottom corner of it (you can't read it in the video, but you can see it, it's the smudge that appears around 7:28). If you get the chance, take a look at it at your LCS.
