  • Jennifer is absolutely beautiful!!!

  • you guys are fucking idiots.

  • is she better now?

  • subtitulos ??? español

  • SNOWFLAKES :D

  • Omg Dr. Phil doesnt get it. I've never had an eating disorder but I get it. Its not about someone calling you fat in school and wanting to look like a super model!!! Its about directly hurting themselves.. Like cutting their wrists, its all about self hurt. Not wanting to look like a model at all. A normal girl wanting to be skinnier is NOT enough motive for THIS ^^^

  • @michellenn93 Sorta...but its really about control and perfection overall. Although that's tied into it for some people. Its impossible to understand an eating disorder if you haven't had one.

  • funneh shit man, thanks for upload

  • @chairmobile Um, this is really sad. How on earth do you find it funny?

  • @addisonroadfan12 It's natural selection at work; like the Darwin awards, but better!

  • @chairmobile But how is that funny? This girl is in the worst physical condition possible. She is dying slowly to starvation? How on earth is that FUNNY? What is wrong with you!?

  • @addisonroadfan12 I guess you haven't seen the Darwin Awards.

  • @chairmobile I have, but I know that death and starvation isn't a funny thing no matter what. You seem to have some big issues.

  • @addisonroadfan12 Look, murder and cancer (that is, when the deceased had no option) is not funny. Kids dying in Somalia due to malnutrition is not funny. However, when there is extreme stupidity or choice in the matter of death (eg, the Darwing awards and the skinny shit in the vid above) I find it humorous. That's not an "issue"; that's an opinion. Don't like it? I don't like your continual fucking diagnosis of my mental state either.

  • @chairmobile I get where you're coming from but being anorexic is not a choice. It often starts as a diet, and goes down hill. It's a disease. They can get "better" but they live with the struggles and temptations of anorexia for the rest of their lives. I can't change your mind but I just wanted to let you know that anorexia is a mental disease (they literally hear voices that tell them to do certain things like not eat) and they are NOT people who are just starving for attention.

  • @addisonroadfan12 I see it as closer to drug or other substance abuse than a disease. They're not innocent bystanders. I don't respect Heroin addicts; why is this any different?

  • @chairmobile Well for one anorexia is not a drug. It's a mental thing. Like I said, they literally HEAR voices in their head TELLING them they need to be a certain way and that they are fat, and that not eating will make them be in control. I've done quite a lot of research on anorexia. You should too. Also, I'm not asking you to RESPECT them. Just don't laugh at them.

  • @addisonroadfan12 What do you think Heroin is? It's a response to a lack of control and happiness in life. And seeing as only 6% of anorexics are male (and there is no proven mental difference making women more susceptible) I think a much more reasonable explanation is that anorexia develops from obsessing over attractiveness. Plenty of drug abusers have voices in their heads; their hallucinations are much worse. Doesn't make them any better. Doesn't make it less funny.

  • @chairmobile Yes, I see your point BUT I still don't find it funny at all. Death or starvation, whether intentional or not, just is not humorous in any way to me. Probably because two people close to me died of anorexia. Yes, anorexia does develop because they obsess over attractiveness but it is impossible to ever recover from it because they do suffer for it the rest of their lives. It's just not something I can laugh about. It makes me very sad.

  • @addisonroadfan12 In that case, you must not consider the Darwin awards (which is about death) funny, bringing it back to the main point: I do not have issues, I have a different outlook on things. Don't like it? I don't give a flying fuck.

  • @chairmobile Alright well I have a different outlook on things as well. Obviously I offended you but I didn't do that intentionally. Have a nice day.

  • @chairmobile Anorexia is one of the hardest things to go through in life! Don't treat this disease that is one of a leading COD in the US as a joke!

  • @chairmobile & @ addisonroadfan - EDs don't develop due to obsessing over attractiveness. It's a coping mechanism for other issues/feelings that are too hard/painful to confront (molestation, rape, etc.) A lot of drug addicts probably use drugs for the same reason. While using an addiction/ED as a way to cope isn't commendable, what would your standards be like to "respect" a small child for how they've coped with being molested with no other support? Just something to think about

  • @yslrg a) She's not a little fucking kid anymore.

    b) Do you think heroin addicts are poor little sob story cases to be pitied?

I don't respect drug addicts; most people in society don't. Why should I respect these fucks? And why do you care?

  • @chairmobile I just thought your response (in general) to this was interesting - don't really see how respect plays into this at all. For me, all people intrinsically deserve respect even if their actions may not. If you'd read my 1st comment, I said that using an addiction or ED was not commendable. That doesn't mean these people aren't deserving of respect, compassion, or understanding.

  • @yslrg That outlook comes from a naive and utilitarian misunderstanding of the fact that people are not special. Unqualified human dignity results from a pathetic belief that we're any different than any other animal; in fact, the only "worth" that any individual has is their worth to society. Unless, of course, you are arrogant enough to follow an organized religion.

  • No need to be hostile - just wanted to know if you'd considered her trauma and age (she started the ED as a child) into your initial response, or if it would change your perspective if you did.

  • @yslrg look. Do you see heroin users being invited to talk shows where everyone oohs and aahs at their sad story? Do you know that it's possible to be a contributor to the greater good despite individual deficiency? Do you realize that the worthless shit in the video above (unlike many other anorexics) has nothing to offer anyone? THAT's why I don't respect her, and THAT's why she has no worth.

  • @chairmobile Uh, she obviously needs major help; are you serious?...

  • @chairmobile No one does this stuff to themselves on purpose. Also the heroine or drug thing is a different story and fortunately they DO do that with drug addicts it's one of many shows called "Intervention" on A&E so it all is exposed in order to help people who are struggling with the same thing...

  • her father is there? why?

  • How is she now???

  • i thought she would have been okay after this but shes just as bad.

  • According to the internet the treatment Dr. Phil set up didn't work and after that she was left alone. Many other centres offered her help for free but she wasn't able to accept it. I don't know where she is now.

Her name is Amiee Moore, she is still going as far as the internet knows. Good luck Aimee! You are so strong to keep going and keep living despite the things that are going through your head! You are strong enough to beat it!

  • Jennifer is so extremely beautiful! She has color and cheeks! she's so gorgeous I dont know why she would ever do that to herself!

  • @98pitufa ...because she suffers from a mental illness.

  • @genet13 NO REALLY I HAD NO IDEA (sarcasm) I am saying that because since she's so beautiful what would be the need to "be perfect" if she already is.

  • @98pitufa There's a lot more to perfection than a symmetrical, generally pleasing face.

  • @genet13 I am aware ! I suffer it myself ..but she still didn't have to do it if it where for that!

  • personally I think she is too far gone.

  • @CosmicFroggie She is far too gone? Are you stupid?

The FIRST step you make in that direction is already going too far. Nobody should be thinking they will be so much better by starving themselves and harming, torturing their bodies.

If you want to be better, or to be prettier, or any other reason that can lead you to do that:

Take care of yourself, take yourself by the hand because you ARE your own guardian angel. Don't be stupid. Take care of your body. eat healthy, smile to the world.

  • How is she now? I'm worried

  • introduce her to an actual fat person. lets see what amy says,

  • does anybody know if she got better??

  • doea anyone know if she is doing better know ?

  • @XLostForgottenAngelX she is doing good, but i wouldnt say great...

  • @XLostForgottenAngelX I heard she died.

  • oh gosh . ): aimee's definitely beautiful . hope she recovers

  • does this comment makes me look fat?

  • @tetrulz Yes you fat Bastard hahaha

  • @tetrulz- No...

  • Comment removed

  • @tetrulz no, but that comment makes you look stupid!!!!

  • @38paperwolf ur comment makes u look like u have 0 sense of humor.. :(

  • lol when she said 'yeah ill stop at the resting stop for my life' and accepted treatment, she was totallyyyyyyy lying. i wonder how she's doing now...

  • um lol to how she has a blanket around her, and a tank underneath. sigh...

  • Jennifer, the blonde girl, seems like she's been reborn, she looks fantastic and healthy which is even better! Hopefully Amy follows her steps and gets better.

  • she is beautiful. she can overcome this. :) i wish the best.

  • I'm not sure, but getting that much attention because of her anorexia could also rile her up to continue with all this shit. :(

    Poor Aimee....

  • i am fat!

  • wow...I'm fat...

  • holy sh*t! I am thin... appearently too thin according to everyone around me, and this girl is 40 lbs less then me!! I would be for sure dead if I lost 40 more lbs... that's crazy!

  • @JennLVsFC u might just look extremely thin because of ur bones and muscle, my guy friend has thin bones and he doesnt work out much so he looks way too thin :P

  • @kattlinyakno I was considering putting up some photos of my current state.. but I can't deal with negative comments of "your not thin enough" and/or "you look gross, get help" which I am getting help, 3 times a week. If anyone is interested in getting better and following my recovery, feel free to e-mail me.. I'm only here to provide help/get help... not to support ED's! so if anyone is enterested, e-mail me!

  • @JennLVsFC wait u are anorexic o_o? so sorry D: i wish the best for u!

  • Does anybody knows what happened with her? Is she better now?

  • this is what rape does !! i am so outraged at this !! i know it's anorexia, etc. etc. but it's the consequence of the action of a bunch of selfish 17 or 18 year old guys, i.am.disgusted.beyond.anything.i.can.possibly.say. it's just horrific, i mean starving the way she does for the reason she is is just than what 99% of occidental people will go through in their whole life. disgusting and outrageous

  • @FyreBalletDancer It isn't what always happens, but it can happen to people with already low self esteem, and unstable support systems.

  • @00Flamerz i know it isnt ... although what most people dont know is that 65% of people suffering from ED are sexual abuse victims, so she's not the only one. But of course many many many other stuff can predispose and trigger anorexia, i know that. my point was that her case is one of the most outrageous things i've ever heard (again, not what she does to herself but what her dad and rapists did to her).

  • Aimee is alive today?

  • It shows she is still alive today.

  • Sorry but the end part ;Classic line-- Do this make me look fat?! Lmao was hilarious

  • She still has it. Search 2medusa com for aimee moore... So sad.

  • im sorry but it is "yes" no yeah . be respectful you4 28.

  • The best part was the hug dr. phil gave amy.

  • How is she now?

  • @Musicmania1968 sadly she passed :(

  • @annylalaa thats a shame, how do you know this?

  • @Musicmania1968

  • OMG. I live in florida and i swear to god i saw her when iw as walking out of church!!

  • aww the mom seems so full of hope

  • Her mom posted a message on her fbook page and said she wasnt doing well... this was 4 months ago :(

  • " Deadly Thin" " Scary Skinny" what creative titles...

  • i just did a google search and it says she is not doing well at all...

  • Does anybody know if they ever made an UPDATE on Aimee!? Please answer, I would love to see a video or even a photograph of Aimee doing well and looking healthy. This story made me so sad, I really feel for her, and I want to see how she's doing. Anyone with any factual information, please reply!!

  • @11gcorona If you tap her name and in eating disorders I think it may tell you how she is now

  • What can trigger anorexia/bulimia?

  • @profoak1 nvm. Dr. Phil answered my question.

  • how can You say she's dead?! come on people - what's wrong with you? she's now healthy young woman and I wish her all the luck in the world .... she deserves it!

  • 03:14 Dr Phil wears one blue and one black sock.

  • if my coach doesn't stop calling me fat. i m not going to stop...

but then i will end up like her =_(

  • @acbhdbvahvflihdkf Your coach is a loser who doesn't know what they are talking about, he/she is just trying to push you. tell them how you feel about it or just leave and join another team.

  • @acbhdbvahvflihdkf

I had an experience much like the one you're dealing with now. When I was 13, I am now 20, I had been dancing ballet for 10 years and pointe for 6. I had began developing at an early age, I had breasts forming by 10 and, although I didn't get my period until I was 13, I did have hips and curves, moreso than the other petite waifs in my class. I was also much taller than the other girls (I was 5'6", 135 lbs at 13)....CONTINUED BELOW

  • @RealLoveRevolution

My teacher was a stereotypical strict, stick in hand ballet teacher and she told me that I was "too fat" and that "I should diet or else you will not have a solo". This added on to the years of torment I endured from my peers, as I was also an athlete, which gave Me think, muscular thighs and a strong body. Of course, kids can be cruel, and I was teased for being "fat". This was enough to send me into a spiral...CONTINUED BELOW (Stupid characters limit!)

  • @RealLoveRevolution

...for three years I was anorexic and had a complete loss of self confidence. After being treatment, I was put on antidepressants at age 15 which made me gain weight, thereby making Me more depressed. Finally at 16 I had had enough. I became vegetarian, ate and exercised in a healthy way.I was thinner and more fit and happier than I had EVER been, all because I was being HEALTHY. I began booking more modeling and acting jobs and I had the energy to do what I wanted to do...

  • @acbhdbvahvflihdkf

...and what I'm trying to tell you is that, sweetheart, you ARE beautiful. You DO NOT need to go through these extreme measures to make your coach, who clearly had failed in his or her life, otherwise they wouldn't be coaching, stop saying those things. Often times, people say things like that because they are unhappy with themselves. And, TRUST ME, it is NOT worth the devastating effects. Although I'm no longer ana, I developed fibromyalgia and anemia from what I did....

  • @acbhdbvahvflihdkf

...and it's been 7 years!Eating disorders are called disorders for a reason and it is a battle that your body will inevitably lose. Please PLEASE reconsider your options. You do NOT need to go that route, you are far too young and far too important. As for your coach, you need to tell someone about what has been said to you. That is verbal abuse, completely inappropriate, and COMPLETELY UNTRUE. Please, listen to what I'm saying, if you need to talk you can always message me!

  • she is beautiful the lady with the blonde hair she is stunning!

  • i only weigh 143lb and im 6'2 and i think im tooo skinny i want to gain weight

  • I saw the ghost of John.

  • Omg, Jennifer looks amazing!

  • I wonder how she is now.. I hope she is better thoug! But I heard someone commented that she didn't go for the treatment

  • sorry, this sounds very trivial. but dr. travis is daaaaamn hot.

  • She looks so scared when she has to decide whether to go into treatment or not!! I felt bad for her. I understand why she was afraid. I couldn't imagine going to those places three and four times. Once is enough to teach you to be careful if nothing else. (I have two sets of clothing - one for warm weather and one for cold weather, both 2 different sizes. Winter clothes accomodate the required "pudge" so you don't get cold and summer clothes are for when you and everyone else can see.)

  • Kids at schools, or anywhere else, dont get that just saying one little mean thing to someone can ruin their life forever, and they dont care. So if we do that to them, I mean, we dont care, they should picture being in those kids shoes. It makes me so angry that people actually do that.

  • She does not want help and she likes her lifestyle. She is used to being the center of attention...she has her mother to look after her and she generally likes the attention. In fact I think she has the control and not the ED. She knows when she is about to hit rock bottom and does what she has to do to "heal" but only to a point where she does not get healthy. The look on her face when she was offered help by Dr Phil says it all...she did not want it and I saw fear in her eyes. She will fail!

  • why does she have a blanket

  • @phantomofthedrivein shes said that shes cold, so she get one

  • @phantomofthedrivein

    Malnutrition.

  • @phantomofthedrivein

becuase shes very skinny and frail so she gets cold easily

  • @deedee100100100100 yeah but I would have put on a coat in the first place. I bet Dr. Phil told her to wear short sleeves so people could see how skinny she was and he had a blanket on standby.

  • What's so tragic is Aimee never understood how beautiful she was before developing her eating disorders. I pray she is doing better. Someone posted that she is "no longer anorexic." If I'm not mistaken, anorexia is chronic, like clinical depression or alcoholism -- you are always considered in recovery but there is no "cure."

  • wow... i didnt realize that got many thmbs up and that so many people read it o.o

  • i am 20 years old and i have been dealing with anorexia nervosa since i was 8 years old. seeing aimee was heartbreaking and desvestating and then seeing Jennifer from 68lbs to 103lbs gave me hope and inspiration to get treatment because just like Aimee I am afraid to give up the control, but like people have told me, eating disorders are dangeous and deadly. so this gave me some hope to seek treatment and give up some control over my edo. because it will only get worse.

  • How is she doing now?

  • squeaky voice and a blanket...

that´s how to win everyone´s affection!

    AAAWWWWW!!!

i think i´m gonna throw up now...

  • Jennifer is beautiful. And she deffinetly wasn't when she was 63 lbs, and I bet Aimee can be as beautiful as Jennifer also, just like she was when she was young.

  • Ok I went to that so called Facebook page for Aimee and I didn't see anything updated since 2008. So I don't know where you are getting someone updates it fairly recent. Also there's no picture of her except the one's they've shown already.

  • If anyone wants to know how Aimee is doing I found a page on facebook called "Support for Aimee Moore" someone is providing regular updates that are fairly recent. She seems to doing fine and a picture of her looks like she has improved. Check it out for yourself.

  • the doctor in the middle is hot.

  • @ThePuppyLuva Yes, he is! lol

  • Jennifer had an amazing body there!

  • she is still alive! when you google her (Aimee Moore) you can find a site called 2medusa, which is frequently updated.

  • she is still alive! when you google her (Aimee Moore) you can find a site called 2medusa

  • ive been called fat my whole life (even im not) and ive never had eating disorders.

  • As of today, it's not good

    2medusa.com/2008/12/anorexia-bulimia-tragic-life-of-aimee.html

  • Thanks to everyone that responded to me . I haven't had a chance to look up on her but I'm glad to hear she's progressing well .

  • @dxpeness1990 THANKS so MUCH for telling me shes ok and making progress. I feel really bad for someone in that kind of torture for so long :(

  • I sure hope she got better.

  • I'll pray for her/people like her =[

  • i really wonder how she is doing now

  • @BillyTrollsYou Wow, you sound like a jerk. Eating disorders are real and I can't stand people like you who whine that someone is an attention whore just because psychologically they are unstable and unable to take care of themselves.

  • @sportsmed77 oh look it's a whore protector. i bet you have an eating disorder too, lmfao i hope you die

  • @BillyGatesForever Wow, classy. lol, Actually your comment made me laugh really really hard. I actually don't have an eating disorder, but you clearly have psychological issues if you are wishing death on people you've never even met before. Take care, buddy.

  • @sportsmed77 you laugh at hate comments? you sicko!

  • @BillyGatesForever Yeah, I laughed at it because clearly you are a troll with nothing better to do than to make fun of people over the internet. That means your comments aren't meant to be taken seriously. For all I know, you're probably a little boy who is experimenting with the internet for the first time.

  • @sportsmed77 a troll? don't flatter me. and even if i was, thank you for responding.

  • @BillyGatesForever Any time. ;-)

  • @sportsmed77 feeding the trolls. that's a wise decision.

  • i hope she got her beautiful face back..... i think everyone would love that to of actually happened<3

  • She is not dead, she is doing excellent, and she is not anorexic anymore, just look at the link below

  • @lisemafise1 What link?

  • @MrJayjase The link was under my comment, before i got the thumbs up .... :(

  • @lisemafise1 which link?

  • @37mamak 2medusa com / 2008 / 12 / anorexia-bulimia-tragic-life-of-aimee

  • @lisemafise1 she is not doing well.

  • @molenda122 not in the film, but as to this date, i thing she is.

  • @lisemafise1 what link below? o.0

  • @lisemafise1 If youre anorexic once, you will always be anorexic. You can only keep it in control. But the pathologic view of your body never totally disappears.

  • 2medusa.com/2008/12/anorexia-bulimia-tragic-life-of-aimee.html

  • is she doing better? plz updates

  • I think she's dead now, because I looked at the Facebook page, and it reads out what an epitaph would.

  • people give m updates!? thnx

  • um she got put in a mental hospital, and she checked herself out. a month later.. she died.

  • @fireflies23455

    that's not true, she's alive

  • @fireflies23455 what?! is she ded????

  • @fireflies23455 what?!had she died????

  • @fireflies23455 what?!has she died????

  • Jennifer looks absolutely gorgeous. I hope Aimee is now doing well. Any recent updates?

  • I want to see a followup video asap.

  • if anyone has an update on her plz reply xoxo thnx <3

  • @XxRawrItsNitaxX To anyone who is interested. Last I heard, which was around August 2010 (not too long ago) she was still in Recovery at a clinic in South Florida. Doing well. She has had many relapses, but seems to be doing much better this time around...I don't know her current situation as of March 2011. Hope this helps :)

  • @redjackpirate13 Thank you so very much for this update. I'm glad Aimee is doing much better. Has she been able to forgiver her dad for the cruel things he said when she was 13? I can only hope that he & the mom have since reconciled. Again, thank you for this update. I can only imagine that giving up control had to be pretty frightening to Aimee.

  • im 13 an id like to share my story i weighed 288 lbs , in the 8th grade and a social outcast , i was bulllied everyday at school, i was pushed down a flight of concrete stairs , i was beaten by a group of boys with a paddle , i was constantly punched or kicked , in woodshop i got beaten and hit with the tools... and i was called names too, i attempted suicide 2 times. that was in September 2010 , im now 254 and going down, and homeschooled and plan to go back next year.
