Although everyone including me would love to play this game again... They will never release a private pre bc or bc server, they've said countless times they want to bring out new material for people to play, not old.

they dont implement events like that anymore because wow has became too big. I mean on some servers you can't handle dalaran with the best PC just imagine the whole server on a zone like AQ. That just woudln't work out. And you already had insane lagspikes in classic at the opening event. Blizzards servers just cant handle it

@Pillowpantslol Yes I agree that it wouldn't be the same, but it would still be awesome because there are many players that have not even been to any of the preTBC raids. So lots of players probably wouldn't even know how to open the AQ gates. And when you picked up an epic, you would feel like you earned it.
Blizzard needs to make a fresh Pre-TBC realm, meaning AQ gates closed.
No character transfers into or out of. No faction changing. And for it to be a PvP realm where you cannot create an opposite faction character on the same account. I'm pretty sure if they did that they would get lots of the old school players back, the ones that retired after BC came out.
I also saw this during classic on the Aggramar EU server and what ACTUALLY happened is that the server was so lagged out that it took about 45 seconds for an instant ability to go off and the world server crashed for hours..... That's why they don't do this sort of stuff anymore.

wow why cant there be any big events like this now?.. i started playing wow a little more than a year ago and i wish i could do these old raids.. the only really epic event now is wintergrasp.. which is great for pvp, but they need a big pve event as well.
This was so big because in order for this to even happen it took people to participate in all the dailys and quest everyday to make the supplies. it took from weeks to months depending on Player participation
For the people that are saying their should be more events like this, their should be a major event in patch 3.3.3 cause that's when the Lich King is soppose to become a raid boss for the blade 'FrostMourne'

Level 60 raid instance in Silithus. Required 40 people at time of release to do it and it required attunement to enter. One of my more favorite pre tbc/wotlk raids. Wish they would make all the pre tbc raids a level 80 heroic setting and give something for them, that would be quite nice.
I'm just curios: Since Vashj is a PvP server and Silithus is contested territory how did that work? I could clearly see Alliance and Horde in this video and if one of them were to use an AoE fighting those Anubis monsters the opposing faction would obviously get killed. Was Silithus made a temporary sanctuary?
I agree with the other to posts, about how blizzard removed 40 man raids... I loved doing MC-ony pre-tbc, it was probably the best time I ever had. But I remember being FORCED to show up on raids, in the fear of losing dkp, or worse.

It was a great event, but unfortunately a lot of servers crashed a lot during the event or lagged like crazy.
I mean probably practically all of the level 60 population of the server and even some lower levels where all in silithus.
luckly my server wasn't too bad, it lagged a little and I think it only crashed the once.

This was so big because in order for this to even happen it took people to participate in all the dailys and quest everyday to make the supplies. it took from weeks to months depending on Player participation

For the people that are saying their should be more events like this, their should be a major event in patch 3.3.3 cause that's when the Lich King is soppose to become a raid boss for the blade 'FrostMourne'

dark portal opening was one. not so gigantic as this but it was the first one ive been part of....i LOVED it...
pve server and we were pvping there xD + helluva aoe on the portal entrance on the adds.

i got on during tbc and i found it perfectly okay ive never played on any private servers from teh "Old days" so i dont know how awesome things used to be but when i finally got to 70 during tbc wotlk was 2 weeks away :(. i kinda wish wotlk had never happened tbc i could deal with and pre tbc sounds really fun by what everyone is saying blizz needs to get its "mojo" back(Austin Powers reference anyone?) and start these events up again i suggest what maschieftain said doing every bosss would be

OK heres my opinion: pre-bc was the best wow ever no competition, it was a simpler raid and pvp time, i miss 40 mans and i miss how hard it was to get epics, and how not evryone was so hardcore, only those like 2 guilds on each realm

Level 60 raid instance in Silithus. Required 40 people at time of release to do it and it required attunement to enter. One of my more favorite pre tbc/wotlk raids. Wish they would make all the pre tbc raids a level 80 heroic setting and give something for them, that would be quite nice.

I'm just curios: Since Vashj is a PvP server and Silithus is contested territory how did that work? I could clearly see Alliance and Horde in this video and if one of them were to use an AoE fighting those Anubis monsters the opposing faction would obviously get killed. Was Silithus made a temporary sanctuary?

I agree with the other to posts, about how blizzard removed 40 man raids... I loved doing MC-ony pre-tbc, it was probably the best time I ever had. But I remember being FORCED to show up on raids, in the fear of losing dkp, or worse.

WoW has become a Child's Game , Where you can buy everything for some pieces of gold. heres nothing Challenging , Nothing Hard anymore. They Cut the 40-man raids because Blizzard knows that People dont know how to organise a raid. Pre-tbc you used to coopetare with at least two guilds to make it happen....40 people on ventrillo having a blast.......

I still run AQ40 on my 70 main, shits is STILL fucking tough, not like we couldnt do it without wiping or even having trouble, but i cant imagine that shit at 60... and Naxx also, mad respect for the dudes doing it back pre BC, only people that can even compare themselves to them now is sunwell raiders
