All Wi-Fi problems are generally hardware related, there is nothing wrong with any of the Microsoft Wireless Packages, generally that's something that isn't even updated because it's a pretty straight-forward thing.

If you do that you'll ruin the mobile, trust me, I've had friends who've done that and their phone was screwed after awhile of not using the stylus. It's there for a reason.
