@FrontFlipCousins Its called the Valsalva Maneuver. you plug your nose and mouth and exhale hard to pop your ears and regulate pressure

omg i had a breth holding compititon and i lost by like a second and how is there no presure on your ears coz i get about 10 metres and it hurts

The SETT is in Gosport (near Portsmouth) in the UK.

The tank is 30m deep although you can only dive to 28m.

what's free diving and where for is the training

think of diveing without oxygentanks and other scubagear :)

and diving only with fins,mask,tube and the air you have in your lungs from the surface.

I've always wondered, why do you need the tube? I always see people with it, and I can't work out why.

in scubadiveing you have the tube as a security thing when you are at the surfice and maby swiming to the spot to get up if there are waves. so you dont need to use the regulator and air..

if you snorkeling "freediveing" with just mask,fins,tube you can breath and lying on the surface facing down whatching the fish for hours if you whant, without need to put your head abow the surface :)
