Actually, I think writing good apps for OSX is just easier. Every Mac comes with XCode, the IDE that Apple uses to build their own apps. OSX also provides very powerful APIs like Core Audio, Core Data, Core Image, Core Video and Core Animation and of course their own interface language Cocoa.

For programs, use Google. There aren't tons of different apps for the same task, but in over one year of power using a Mac I have not come across aone app that was complete crap. For Windows-Users, crap is absolutely normality.

Are you like retarded the only known viruses to Mac is the Newton Viruses and for that even to get on your computer you have to install it using a USB Port. So therefore the only other way for you to get the blue screen of death is actually you trying to get one and letting some Programmer allow a viruses on your computer. OS X (and Linux, and Vista with User Account turned on) ARE orders of magnitude more secure than XP for reasons that have nothing to do with market share.
