  • @TheGreatBenjamin714 You sound like either a retard, a troll, or both. Either way go and fuck yourself and don't bother trying to start an argument here. Do you usually reply to comments that are 2 years old to try and start a shit fight? Get a life loser, seriously.

  • i never understood why doom1 and doom2 were pixelized because they use vector graphics. and vector graphics dont use pixels so you can scale them without quality degrading.

  • I love cheesy 90's video game shows. The good 'ol days, eh! Doom 64 is awesome though. It's in my personal Top 10 FPSs.

  • this guy really likes doom 64

  • Not really. It's called "acting".

  • you don't say

  • "thousands of doom fans"

    Surely millions? Even back then.

  • Comment removed

  • Why not?

  • First off, I wrote the review, not the guy in the video, so he's not even in the equation. He never played the game. I didn't have a problem with the game, but that's just my opinion.

Even if he did write the review, just because a person likes a game you don't, doesn't make that person a moron.

  • OK fair enough, but you have to admit, in all fairness if you give a game like Doom 64 5 stars in all aspects then what can you give games like Zelda OOT, Mario 64, Goldeneye, etc?

But you are correct, they're all opinions and each to his own, I believe that Doom 2 was far superior to the 64 version, and it was older too!

  • Actually, we did review Goldeneye in 1997, and Zelda in 1999. Both got great scores.

  • Yeah, I've been skimming through your vids, and if you're idea of a 5 star game is something like Doom 64, then something like Zelda would be off the scale.

OOT had it all, longevity, graphics, storyline, gameplay, and most of all, the music!

  • @GrilledMonkeyFat do you have some kind of website or hub of a list of your reviews because you have waaay too many videos and it is hard to find them all. or do you have a list in chronological order? do you still have all your old reviews too?

  • @xFIRERUSHx Hey, sorry for the late reply. I do have a website, though there isn't really a list of the reviews or videos that I've done. That's actually a great idea. I'll have to work on that. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • @GrilledMonkeyFat Welcome.

  • doom 2 is a good game and suprisingly its my favorite but its unfair to call it superior than the 64 doom, doom 2 came out in 1995 and doom 64 came out in 1997, games like mario 64, zelda oot, and goldeneye are great games and your right about what you said im just saying that doom 2 is not superior than doom 64

i still play all doom games but not doom 3 or doom 3 resurection of evil but i will soon. and im also waiting for doom 4

  • @eggg102 zelda and goldeneye suck donkey dicks

  • @eggg102 dude your fucking retarded. Why dont you go spend some money on real gaming system instead of whining that all the good games dont come out for PC first. This game was awsome. And you can turn up the screen brightness you cry baby bitch. Zelda OOT was a fucking maze. and Mario 64 for is for 12 and under.

  • @tamemsam Who was whining saying games don't come out on pc first? not me. Zelda OOT was a maze for you? You must be really shit at video games and stupid as fuck to not be able to work out that one. Mario 64 is not for "12 and under", it's for anyone who wants to play it regardless of their age. Your statement's just too stupid to respond to any further, have fun trolling year old comments in hope of an argument moron. Bye loser.

  • it was alright.......i love the original extremely better

  • This is a great version of DOOM. My one major gripe is that there is no reloading animation (i.e. no shotgun pumping etc). That messes me up. I also don't care for the Hexen-esque weapons.

Helpful info: you can download all the sprites, maps, and sounds for jDOOM, zDOOM, Doomsday, etc. Includes text and cinematics, so its like the full game, but now with mouse support! Happy fragging

  • wow this video is so "90's" that I almost shit my pants... awesome stuff... I always wanted to play the 64 version that was made... I'll have to look into it.

  • have you ever heard of Star Fox 64?

  • mario 64 paper mario zelda games golden eye

  • The 3 Very best!

  • like your mom, and why is your name Doom64Dude anyways

  • Doom 64..Very Very good Game...I got Doom 64 TC

  • awesome! im getting this for p64

  • umm the p64?

I think you mean the N64

  • project 64 :)

  • o ok

  • I miss the lvl 1 pc song

  • Hah, he sounds like some freakin storyteller.

  • lol all 5/5's .. this musta been when n64 had KILLER GRAPHICS

  • Actually the most classic is Goldeneye 007

  • How is Goldeneye older than Doom...

  • omfg u gay dumbass id rather play doom than some shitty jamesbond game u dumbass

  • Yeh halo sucks compared to doom halo is overrated

  • @stickguy5000 yeah whatever. doom is overrated in many ways too.

  • How the hell is Halo the most classic if Goldeneye is older...

  • oh my god.. you bunch of cock suckers, doom and goldeneye are CULT CLASSICS, i've never really enjoyed halo..

halo sucks dick compared to doom, goldeneye. and halo isn't classic... sithisl, we all know your a graphic/multiplayer whore

  • Doom and Goldeneye are more than cult classics. Something cult means it has a small following. These games still have big followings and though of as two of the best FPS' of all time.

  • viperxeon. how the fuck is doom and goldeneye "cult classics". tons of people loved those games.

  • They're "cult classics" because they didn't sell well. There was a lot of piracy around but they didn't break countless millions. Unlike Halo.

But I don't like Halo. Doom's my fave, followed by Quake and then Duke. Fantastic games, better than most today still.

  • this look like nothing more than doom ported on the quake engine

  • I never played the 64 version. it was cool to see a video of it.

  • Voice sounds a bit poor, but not a bad review.

  • It was good

  • kool review!!!!

  • why no multiplayer

if someone out there can mod a doom 64 rom to have multiplayer id suck their dick (thats a joke)

  • remember how much i loved this when it first came out

  • Loved this game. People bashed it at the time, for no reason and put a lot of people off buying it. It was the best Doom since Doom 1 and was a lot creepier. It felt like Doom and Quake mixed.

  • God, this guy's voice ruined it for me.

  • I agree, Doom 64 is by far the best doom since the originals on pc. The grafix are clear and clean, lots of action and creepy monsters but the best part is the chilling music! Man, playing this game at night and in the music you hear this crying baby kind of monster in the background, just gives you the creeps! lol...

  • Ive played all the Doom games and of all of them I think Doom 3,Doom 64 and Doom 1 pc are the best.

  • the commentator sounds like he should be on a childrens show or something.

  • It looks fun, but Doom 3 has passed it... .Well, durr.

  • Except Doom 3 is crap and Doom 64 is great.

  • Eh. I liked Doom 3. I'm sure 64's good though, not sure what kind of mind i was in when i posted that last ccomment.

  • Is the BFG in the game? I can'tt find it anywhere.

  • The BFG can be found in all the Domm games. However they dont use it in this movie.

  • it appears in this video, and you hear it just start to charge up, but then it switches to a different screen.

  • Meh, lame comentary

  • The sounds from the psx doom is much more atmospherical compared to the original!

  • lots of the sound effects of psx doom are extracted from the one used on doom 64, so, not so more atmospherical than this one, and anyway there's a lot of effects that I preffer from the original PC Doom instead of these both

  • actually its most of the sounds from doom 64 that are taken from psx doom since that came out first so yeah they're kinda the same, however its more the music from these that i prefer over the original PC music...oh and yeah its true that some of the sounds from psx doom and doom 64 are inferior to those in the PC version such as the cyberdemon and spidermastermind...

  • My review I love the game Awesoem weapons easy story line AND its fun to play in teh Fun levels Hardcore, Cat and mouse, and PLayground all beaten on every difficulty nad well one thing taht confused me was the atifacts which makes the beam stronger

  • If your going to play doom, id go with the classic pc version, the collector's edition of doom, its out for Windows XP, 10 bucks for the thrilogy, you can't go wrong

  • It was a decent game, but two FPS on the N64 that came out that year: the great Turok and the masterpiece Goldeneye; were just much better games. I owned all three and Doom 64 saw by far the least amount of playing time. Oh and this reviewer guy sucks.

  • That game was disappointing; it could have looked much better.

  • the same thing could be said about the originla doom. this game had awesome graphics for its time.

  • that's true... when I hear about Doom 64 I thought in something like a Doom with the Goldeneye 007 graphics, using 3D models instead of sprites, with slopes, jumping, 3D models for guns, etc. In that part was disappointing, but I have fun playing this doom anyway

  • the reviewer is pants at this.

  • They used the same sound as the PSX Dooms

  • Wait a minute...didn't they use the exact same sound effects borrowed from an older Doom game on the Sega Saturn?

  • i actually played this one before the original. They were both good, but this one seemed to simply go on and on.

  • wait...do you like doom?
