I agree! They are completely different things. I took dance classes and was told that I was a pretty good dancer in terms of my ability to copy the moves quickly and apply it to the beat. However, I couldn't create a whole dance even if my life depended on it. Believe me I've tried lolz.

She's back in japan now, yup. She's got two major lives scheduled according to her japanese website. a Boa The Live X'mas 2009 and the regular major tour in early 2010. They also were talking about a new Japanese album in early 2010, but the release got cancelled. Was so upset over that. I hope she announces another one soon.

@1118freeze well as a dancer yes, but her music is vry basic. She can't play an instrument, nor can she compose or write a song. She dances sharp her simple dance moves and i love it, but she went to much with the crowd.

She has more talent in her little finger than u have in your whole body, or will ever have. She is so talented it is amazing, & on many different levels.

I'm only talking about dance ability. Even in dance ability, I'm not saying she beats MJ, but she is up there in his direction. She had full time professional training from 11, not as early as MJ, but still early enough. A lot of her dance ability hasn't yet been shown in official videos because it doesn't fit her record label's PR plan, but some of the recordings from rehearsals show more of her capabilities. Anyway I don't see it as a straight comparison, she had the benefit of his influence.

@1118freeze well as a dancer yes, but her music is vry basic. She can't play an instrument, nor can she compose or write a song. She dances sharp her simple dance moves and i love it, but she went to much with the crowd.

@1118freeze I am not a blind fan. A fan should want and ask more of the person they admire or spend money on since it is your money they profit on. BoA can be so much more if she spend just 1 hr a day to learn an instrument and worked on her voice and then dance. BoA wont shine anywhere else only in the asian continent if she sticks to her created image. She is talented, i just think she lets her label control her style, and image. Co written songs can mean a word, and compose? with pro tools!

No. Anyone can ATTEMPT to do the Moonwalk. I've seen just about every person that can dance try to do it and they fail.
BoA's dancing style is similar to MJs in many aspects. Hence why she'd probably be the only person to do it CORRECTLY since MJ himself.

I'm only talking about dance ability. Even in dance ability, I'm not saying she beats MJ, but she is up there in his direction. She had full time professional training from 11, not as early as MJ, but still early enough. A lot of her dance ability hasn't yet been shown in official videos because it doesn't fit her record label's PR plan, but some of the recordings from rehearsals show more of her capabilities. Anyway I don't see it as a straight comparison, she had the benefit of his influence.
