It sounds like he might be a little irritated that "the general population" may enjoy some of the things he does, thus diminishing his "counterculture". I say it's a great thing, it helps to preserve them. Just think, if the general population liked Bongoland, it would still be around. You can be Counterculture and like the GP stuff and vice versa, it is possible to like both!
They only did it to garner respect from the counterculture... Neither WalMart nor McDonalds will ever get respect from me.... but that is a pretty sick collection :)
This Walmart is in Royal Palm Beach. It's like 10minutes away from where I live. I was little when they opened this and I still think that that Mcdonalds is the coolest ever.
This was a real good find... If you ever want to find another great themed McDonalds it is found in San Antonio, TX. The theme is the 1950's, Jukeboxes, LP's, Motorcycles and Classic Cars (They have some on display almost every weekend). Thanks Adam!
This MickeyD's is very reminiscent of the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant at Disney's Hollywood Studios @ Walt Disney World. I didn't see this McD's as a "horror exhibit," it reminded me of the Food Stands at old Drive-In Movies that showed all of those B-Rated horror flicks from the 50's.
I need to go to this walmart. Where is it? Is it far from Orlando. I am so disappointed that this gem is hidden in a friggon walmart? Why would they do this.

I haven't been in a Wal-Mart in over a year, so I'd miss something like this. It's the kind of collection I need on my walls.

Well you have to be near Universal Studios in Orlando.
That is enough to make me want to eat at McDonalds.

You should hit up Panama city beach Florida. Go to a restaurant called Schooners. And PCB is filled with tourist traps.
