They remember because they have nothing better to do. Think think think. Thinking for millions of years is what animals have done. Free them.

I dont see these animals being misunderstood at all. They are beautiful yes, but elusive and dangerous. I think the way it follows her against the fence is extremely stalker like. The grizzly man thought grizzly bears were cuddly misunderstood animals and look how that worked out for him. the last guy was right it was just curious. if it was acting agressive is would have ran fast at her, and would have been a little more stealthy about it. it was following her backand forth and i noticed her doing hand gestures, so the cat was just being playful. im sure if she went in there, it would play with her like a overgrown housecat. probably would even purr

Your girlfriend might also have sometype of odd scent on her, and could be making the cougar overcurious. Cats are known for they're curiousity, big or small.
