  • I was expecting something totally diffirent

  • cus shes so damn ugly

  • maybe it was the bright pink she was wearing and the cougar mistook her for a wounded animal.

  • This is in the Toronto Zoo.

  • Cougar was like...."back in the day, bitches like you were a limb a dozen."

  • no offence but she has no ass

  • Can you use a Tazer on a wild animal?

  • Yes, you can use a taser, but the odds of it working to the effect you want are slim. I've seen dogs get tasered, and not flinch, or not react until they had been shocked for a few seconds. Tasers are designed for use on people.

  • Co za asy

  • some of those movements on the cat look like he wanted to play, although his definition of play maybe a whole lot different than ours.

  • how to get you pussy eatin by a big cat they can reach hights of 18 ft dummies

  • I DON'T BLAME THE COUGAR, I WOULD GOBBLE HER UP MYSELF!

  • Was this in Nova Scotia? there is a cougar at the wildlife preserve there that did the same to me, and the enclosure looks the same

  • I thought cougars only liked young men

  • That's a pornfilm title surely?

  • Are Mountain Lions Friendly when they are not territorial ?

  • @spsnova Yes, but you have to give them offerings of raw meat. The best way is to cover yourself in it, and move toward them rapidly. This will please them as they will view it as an act of giving. After which time they will be "Friendly".

  • they are larger than i thought

  • She probably resembled the zoo keeper that feeds the kitty......

  • Duh she looks like a big walking piece of raw meat.. hello red and pink clothing attract cats and all preditors..

  • Nice. If there wasn't a fence, I wonder if he would have bit her or licked her face like a dog. He didn't look like he was threatening her

  • "it's called taunting, stupid idiots. can't believe you didn't get kicked out for that"

Taunting? By walking back and forth checking to see how or why a caged animal was intently focused on a person? Get the fuck out of here . . .

*Taunting* . . . I swear, people and their stupid ass bullshit. They'll try and make YOU look like the bad bug just for being there and watching the animal.

  • pedo cougar

  • it's called taunting, stupid idiots. can't believe you didn't get kicked out for that.

  • "What the!? Why is there a hole in the fence there??"

    *Cougar growling noises*

    "Ahrggghhh!!!!!!!"

  • Count yourself lucky. Almost everytime I go to zoo the animals are sleeping motionless under some bush - not that I blame them, there isn't much excitement in their life. Also nice scale comparison right there: you only really see how big the cougar is when it's standing up and next to a human.

  • i doubt the pink of the coat had anything to do with it... i would bet her odor got him excited....

  • that cougar was like bitch u think i cant get threw this wimpy ass fence and pounce u

  • cos her coat is bright pink it make cougar think it is meat

  • He's just thinking OMG that human looks like one of those brightly coloured toys from walmart! NEED!!!

  • That fence is the only thing that kept your girlfriend alive. Thats pretty ballsy and foolish to antagonize the animal like that.

  • the cougar just wants to have the map. the battery of the nav is empty.

  • I want to eat your girlfriend too ;)

  • Dude thinks he's Stephen Spielberg.

  • hahahaha! he's like "mmm fresh meat"

  • Oh man there is a lot of room here for some off color jokes. I will just leave it there.

  • He was really zeroing in on her....creepy.

  • might have something to do with pheromones or sweat coming from your girl.

  • That's pretty cool, actually. They perfer to avoid people, but that on must be friendly from living in captivity <3 it's cute ^^

  • they laugh...if only the animal wasnt caged up...she would be dead :)

  • That cougar looks so strong. He'd open me up like butter.

  • It's very likely that a woman feeds the caged cat and he is reacting to the similarities.

  • is that a zoo

  • shiat!!! as lovely as your girlfriend is, I would have to decline hiking in the woods with you folks!!!

  • Where was this taken

  • he dont like the pink suit ^^

  • That cat will remember her. I saw a tiger at the zoo in a pen no bigger than the tiger. Holding pen or something. I went back years later and they had a enclosure instead of a cage. Anyway I walked by the enclosure and it ran at the fence and leaped at it. It stayed standing on its hind legs and holding the fence with it's paws until I walked away. They remember because they have nothing better to do. Think think think. Thinking for millions of years is what animals have done. Free them.

  • Yah lets let them go in a world with no safe place for them to live, no prey and not knowing how to hunt because they have always had dead food given to them. Sounds like a good way to torture one to death to me.

  • @krrrruptidsoless have you never heard of idiots with guns? Or animals habituated to human interaction that could seek that interaction and be shot by mistake?

You do NOT take an animal that that has never been in the wild and dump them out there unless you want them to DIE. Even wild animals are rehabed to be sure that they can still make it. Life in the wild is HARD.

  • @lironess I am talking about not using wild animals or ones bred for our entertainment. Free them from our need and greed lifestyles. I know they need rehabilitated. But I will also say I'm tired of replyers thinking they know a person from misinterpretting their comments. Know before you go. Don't appreciate this reply. Tragic, not my problem. Don't like my ideals or comments. Learn to deal with diversity of opinions.

  • Comment removed

  • @krrrruptidsoless what was the tiger doing bye hiding from you in the cage?

  • Probably one of it's care givers is a lady (actually I almost guarantee it) and it associates a lighter tread with NOMS. A stalking mountain lion will actually try to stay hidden. It's not the one you SEE that will get you in the wild.

  • cougar thought it´s the pink panther

  • I AM YOUR 100TH RATER WAHOOO

  • the cougar focused on her cos they are attracted to bright colours and she was smaller than u thats my opinion

  • i think her color coat was maked him narve

  • i saw one today when i was going to my hideout at the woods i was scared like fuck

  • Wonder what color the keepers' jackets are at that zoo? Perhaps it thought it was about to get fed.

  • i am no expert but i wonder if the girl is on her monthly occurence and most likely the animal can smell or or maybe she is close to it and the male cougar thinks its a female wanting to mate that would be my assupmtion and thats all it is

  • wow thats so weird! i wonder why it was so curios of her? but it didnt look like it was trying to hunt her, it wouldnt have gotten that close if it was trying to, it would have hidden crouched down tense. it was just trying to play!

  • its a damn shame there was a fence between them it would have been more entertaining

  • im suprised the cougar did not attack she was pretty much teasing it

  • Your gf is moving around attracting the cougar's attention. That's why the big cat focused on her rather than you.

If your gf wears bikini and dances on a bar table seeking attention, men in the bar will do the same as the cougar, i.e. focus on her rather than you.

  • THESE ANIMALS ARE MEANT FOR THE WILD!

  • I dont see these animals being misunderstood at all. They are beautiful yes, but elusive and dangerous. I think the way it follows her against the fence is extremely stalker like. The grizzly man thought grizzly bears were cuddly misunderstood animals and look how that worked out for him. Dont get me wrong I have a lot of respect for these animals, but I dont think other people give them enough, just remember who they are looking out for.

  • While I don't say what the "grizzly man" did was smart, he knew far more than just "thinking they were cuddly." When he was killed, it was a different time of year than he was usually there, and it was not a bear he had interacted with in the past. I think they are in many cases misunderstood in that people think instincts is all there is to them, which of course is not true. In any case, it's very possible this cougar was just playing or curious, obviously it's not a house cat.

  • It's plain to see the cougar was in "play mode". He would have exhibited stalking behavior if he was after a potential meal. Not the prancing after he like he was doing. I've encountered these cats in the wild and they are very misunderstood. Yes, they are predators. But they can be just as curious as your basic house cat. This cat was playing a game with this lady, he wasnot in predator mode.

  • I think if he was in predator mode he would'nt have been in plain site either.

  • Liar. You have never encountered one in the wild.

  • I've lived in the mountains nearly all my life. I've also assisted in many animal rescues & relocations. You are entitled to think & say what you want. I am thankful I have had the chance to see many of these animals in their own habitat. Because if we keep building developments & keep encroaching on their territory, the only place future generations WILL see these animals is in preserves or zoos. Once they are gone, they're gone. I hope as many people have a strong opinion then.

  • I'm not arguing with any of that. Regardless, you have never encountered a cougar in the wild. Please stop lying.

  • One thing, I have no idea where your personal attack is coming from & refuse to further argue with you. You may be a bored kid who wants to"rattle someones' chain" or you honestly don't realize cougars still roam free in the US. In recent years, their numbers have increased & they are beginning to re-colonize much of their old Eastern US territory. Their biggest population is in the Western US. Hope you get a chance to see one. But they take off fast. The wild ones don't like a human audience.

  • Again, I am not arguing with any of your information and would now assume that your idea of an "encounter" was seeing one from a distance somewhere. If that's the case, then I have had a cougar encounter as well. When I was a child were driving through West Virginia, and I saw one lying dead on the side of the road.

  • @purrkiti Quit building developments....... what's your suggestion? How would solve that? I hear this all the time, but what exactly can we do about it? Also, we haven't even made a dent in the land scape of this country, sure the animal planet wants to make it sound like you did, and lead us to believe there's only one tree left. It's not the case, and their (Mountain Lions) numbers are up from 20 years ago by quite a bit.

  • the cat thinks" sweett" big pink steak for lunch today mnam mnam prrrrrr

  • I commented on this video a long time ago saying that the cougar was stalking her and would have attacked her if it was able to and I got bashed.

Glad to see that the idiots that posted after me have been replaced by people that have an idea of what these animals are like. Just because they are cats does not mean they are like your average house cat, they are predators

  • You're right except for one thing. Average house cats are predators too and would eat you if you were small enough. I love cats and own one, but they're born killers.

  • I don't know why, but some cats just love women but can't stand men.

  • Try teasing one in the wild like you did this one and see what happens you both need to be eaten!! Your down rjght STUPID!!!!

  • I think the Cat likes your girlfriend's energy, like it wants to play maybe? Those poor things must get very bored being confined like that !

I saw a Mountain Lion just about the same size as that one, strolling out of a Neighbor's yard at Dusk one Sept eve in 2004. I was standing on the corner chatting with a friend when about maybe 140 ft from us, from the shadows it emerged and just kept walking barely giving us a glance ! It was both thrilling and scary....

  • I wouldn't mind eating your gf either.

  • Interesting. Maybe she looks like the person who feeds it. It isn't really stalking her. It ran out almost more like it recognized her. And they usually are drawn to smaller prey.

When I went with my three children it followed my youngest, then 2, around staring straight at him, until I got between it and my child and stared right back. It then looked away, until I moved, then it stalked him.

The advantage though, in this case, not here in the wild where I live, is you get to see it.

  • she probably has her period...and smells lunch!

  • "the cougar whisperer"

  • lol must be her bright ass jacket

  • i hope that's not somebody's pet! they are beautiful creatures but someone could get a good bite. is it a pet or zoo?

  • kitty

  • Actually, Large emo Nerd, who teaches MMA, and Street Fighting. but... I think I have a video where I get attacked by hornets. I'll try to find it, so you will be happy, and not so bitter. :(

  • lol good one ;)

  • @ZimCrusher

    Are you at Toronto zoo?

  • @ZimCrusher Is this the Toronto Zoo??

  • @DangerousDan2 Congratulations Dan your a douche bag that favors the intellect of an emotionally challenged high school student. What a shitty life you must have.

  • @DangerousDan2 Lol. WHY is this comment hidden? Mad me actually lol

  • ????

  • I saw a program where these two women in American National Park were mountain biking and one got attacked and pulled off her bike, her friend got to her just in time as it was dragging her off by her head into the bushes and her friend ended hanging on to her feet cause it wouldn't let go. Rangers shot it and then found a second body of a man cyclist who had also been attacked and killed only hours earlier!!!

  • That cat is luckier than a lot of others I've seen in cages. At least it has some room to run around in.

  • Say the girl is mine!

  • Probably views the girlfriend as small enough to be a potential target :)

  • She is wearing hot pink and making sudden movements! Mountain lions are attracted to sudden movements.

  • kitty like

  • you may want to keep your girlfriend off the trails cuz if there are more cougars out there like this one she's gonna be kitty food

  • It's just a bored caged animal. What makes you think everything wanna eat your gf?

  • *sigh*

Your girlfriend was taunting the creature - too bad the enclosure was there - or it would've jumped and ripped the both of you to shreds.

  • OMFG! wear something More colorful, then you may never be Noticed!!! O_O

  • i think it's just the color of the girl's jacket that attracted the animal.

  • Cat's are color blind, they focus on the texture of what they're hunting.

  • looks like the couger is checking out ur girl lol

  • hey i wanna eat ur gurlfriend 2

  • @rafaellovesher

what the hell did you get your knowledge from? seems like urmom didnt you teach whats respect

  • @rafaellovesher i forgot the word out

  • @rafaellovesher

i hear ya! hey girl say hi!

  • The cougar looks curious and playful. Look at the ears and tail. Cute video. :)

  • I tink that if muh girlfreind was wearing soemthing bright that id kinda be curios to

    like we all are!

nice vid though it was all locked on it

  • Aww. :D The lovely Cougar is just curious, with a tinge of uncertainty, I think. :/

  • they're all amazing animals

  • what the heck its scared half to death because of what shes doing!

  • Your girlfriend is making the cougar nervouse. The way she moves her fingers and the strange clothes.... and walking around the cage. If there wouldn't be a fence... this guy would kick both of your asses! =)

  • ahhh if only it was as friendly as it looks

  • Best title for a youtube video ever!

  • It must be a WSU Cougar, so it's main focus is beer and girls. Go back with a Heineken and see if it follows you or her.

  • Another thing, don't give the beer to your girlfriend. That fence is only so strong.

  • haha that was a good one dude

  • ahh. omg. thats crazy. :O ahahahaha.

  • woah how weird is that?

  • The cougar is not the only one who wants to eat your girlfriend id have some of that pink hole too

  • He wants to eat her alright. Maybe "pink" is his favorite flavor!

  • yah the cougar is not gunna play with her like a house cat you watch to much TV

i think its interested in he bright pink jacket myself that seems like the most logical explaination

  • Run Bitch Run Its Going To Get You!!!!!

  • a tiger spit at me once

  • the last guy was right it was just curious. if it was acting agressive is would have ran fast at her, and would have been a little more stealthy about it. it was following her backand forth and i noticed her doing hand gestures, so the cat was just being playful. im sure if she went in there, it would play with her like a overgrown housecat. probably would even purr

  • Ahaha, relax, its not hunting her. I do cat rescue, that cougar is curious! look at the ears, its kinda scared too. Looks playful too with the language.

Your girlfriend might also have sometype of odd scent on her, and could be making the cougar overcurious. Cats are known for they're curiousity, big or small.

  • maybe your gal was menstrating...

  • its because your girlfriend is smaller then you. Cougars go after women and children first because they have a better chance of success on the kill. The further she gets away from you the better in the mind of the cougar.

  • yeh i think that was it, not the one above about menstrating lol

  • wow thats crazy! maybe it was the bright colors???... she has a fan... lol

  • Maybe da cat haz a sweet-tooth fer fish?

  • Ur a shallow twat. Get a proper life.

  • It's not because of her coat, Cats can't see bright colours.

  • hehehe, yea, I'd rather follow your girl instead of following you too ^_^ (in all honesty) lol

  • i think he wants to rape ur girlfriend

  • he's thinking "DUMB HUMAN!" "GIMME YR COAT IM COLD DAMMIT!"

  • It must be the color of her coat that the cat is curious about. It doesn't appear as though the cougar was agitated or anything.

  • she isn't hot nub...

  • i'd eat your g/f she's hot

  • its called peace between the people and the animals

    yeah thats a kool relationship

  • I think he likes your girlfriend's pink coat.

  • maybe he's a pink panther

  • can I eat your girlfriend?

  • Heh

  • im just kidden buddy no offense.

  • can a couger eat my girlfriend stops the winging

  • She's wearing a bright pink jacket in the grey of winter! It was probably trying to figure out what she was. I agree with rebelde8a (3 weeks ago), keep the girl for ever! Shre does what you want her to do! Lucky guy!

  • If you watched the cat's movements, it was curious to some extent.

  • cougar probably didnt notice u cause u were standing still and ur girlfriend was moving around

  • LOL the shaking with his head, is he doubting whot part of the menu she is on?

Or just disbelief ´´fast food´´ had arrived?.gud laugh!

  • What the heck is she doing with her hand? WAVING??

  • nope hes hungry and wants to eat the weak 1 rather then the male :D

  • Aww that is soo adorable~!!

  • DUDE I wanna eat your girlfriend also :)

  • Pervert.

  • it's the color of her jacket, ok not neccesarily the color but how bright it is.

  • keep your girlfriend for ever!!! she listens to your every command. I was more amazed at that than the mountain lion. Girls don't really do that anymore you know.

  • that was hilarious

  • well it could be that the kitty is interested cause your gf is wearing pink in the snow

  • It's not showing any signs of aggression, I think its just genuinely interested.

  • As in "What the hell is that pink thing?"
