Guys I've a better solution for this debates. Can't we just forget everything happened in the past and start to live peacefully in the world? We are sending trucks which carry aids (medical, basic needs)to Palastinia. Not only that, our Prime Minister is doing his best to bring the peace between two sides and he has begun before UN and USA (wht about that?). Turkish people are protesting israel for days. They were deported and relocated BECAUSe they, who resided in Turkey, BETRAYED and make alliance with Russia during WW1. They BRUTALLY killed many people and destrayed many villages. Armenian homeland was split between the Russian Empire in the East and Ottaman Empire in the west and the Armenians had no choice but to fight for the side they happened to live on. The Russian-Armenians fighting in the Czarist Army had no debt of allegiance to the turks, but they were considered as traitors to the Ottaman Empire just the same and used as part of the justification. Consider the fact that Armenians and Turks lived in peace for 600-700 years, and even at the Ottomans most powerful peak, they remained unharmed. Many Armenians had government roles even through the 1900s. The spread of nationalism during World War I, and propaganda and encouragement by Russia, Britain, and France, eventually caused massive massacres on both sides. To say only Armenians died, is just racism and disrespect to the dead Turks.

Furthermore, there has never been any evidence to prove the genocide. The Armenian Genocide is nothing more than a theory of what might have happened during 1915, and it has more holes than swiss cheese. Research it properly, I assure you if you research both sides, the Armenian Genocide Theory will show its true colors as being nothing more than propaganda of World War I.

The Armenian Genocide is a fabrication of World War I propaganda, created by the Allies to enrage the Armenian population into full rebellion, mutual massacres ensued causing the death of around 600,000 Armenians. However, to say 1.5 million Armenians died by the will of the government is ludicrous. The propaganda of the Armenian Genocide exists because of a nationalistic agenda by the Armenian Diaspora.

What individuals of your ideology don't understand is that one cannot "legislate" history. As the Turkish Government has stated on numerous occasions..."The legislating of the events of 1919 has no bearing or effect on the Turkish Republic"! History can only be enlighted with scientific evidence such as carbon dating etc. Till you furnish the community of world nations with non-contestable scientific evidence, to me no genocide has been committed.
