@firek9 I find that hot liquid is enough to safely seal the jars for shelf storage. If I know I will be keeping the jam for many months, I try to second water bath them, but I never have done research to see if it makes any difference. Keep liquid hot, and warm the water in the jars before use. It has served me well for about 10 years of jelly making. Just my expreiences..Bob
why are you turning the jars upside down? No second boiling of the jars after they are filled?
