The only key pitcher that's hurt on your team is Maine. Putz wasn't doing squat. Nieve and Niese didn't pitch enough games to judge whether they were key injuries or not. I'm sorry that Beltran, Reyes, Wright, and Delgado are the only good players on your team apparently. Your injury list doesn't hold a candle to the number of injuries the Braves had last season, so I don't even want to hear it.

well, to refresh memory, braves won division in 2005 with key injuries. 4 out of 5 starting pitchers were hurt for extended period, along with chipper, furcal, estrada. we had 12 rookies who we had to rely on for most of the year. u can't use injuries as an excuse for the mets struggling this year. every team has key injuries, but some team can overcome injuries better than others. just take the angels for example. no vlad, hunter, not a healthy lackey, santana, no escobar, still in 1st.
