It's from a compilation Video that was released by noise records in 1993. It included Gamma Ray, Rage, Helicon and Conception.

There are backstage interviews of conception from this video tape.

As soon as I get of my Lazy Horse I'll upload them.

@MidnightMasque The bassist left, and they couldn't find a new one. That's why they stopped playing, blaming it on Khan is just somewhat retarded. That said, I do want that recording from PPU5 to see if he actually still can(could, I guess) hit those notes.

I do know that, but this is the point where your falsetto must be mastered. It's actually much harder to sing falsetto, and this combination is much harder, I believe.

Well, I'm not trying to upset anyone, but really, in a small way you sorta have to agree. If you look at the evolution of Kamelot, starting at Fourth Legacy onwards, they show a big slump with Ghost Opera. Though, I don't think that's because of a lack of songwriting ability. I think it's the lack of TIME they have to write songs with their touring schedule as it is, now days.

mylesmonroe has a small point in that Khan takes some influence from Geoff Tate. But to say that he ripped him off is a complete lie. Khan has a different vocal delivery, even if he has admitted to liking Queensryche (along with ABBA and jazz).

Kamelot today isn't as good as it used to be. They've become poppy and sound like they're trying to appeal to the masses rather then be a good, artistic band.

Conception, on the other hand, never stopped being innovative and musical.

POPPY? I think not. :-O Nothing on Ghost Opera sounds like they've sold out at all. They are as full of ideas as ever and are going from strength to strength, IMO.

But, oh well... I posted on one video that I thought Avantasia had become poppy; someone disagreed quite strongly. Opinions differ, I guess.

The guitar is absolutely nothing in that song like it is in March of Mephisto. The drums are in the same time signature.. unfortunately, Iron Maiden, Rush, and Dio have used that same time signature. There's no monopoly on them.

Conception has always been incredible, and the only thing that makes Kamelot interesting is Roy. Comparing Conception, who are legends, to Kamelot, is ridiculous, imo.

You can't get one right. While this solo is good - as probably are all solos Tore plays - almost every other solo in Conception is more exciting than this one, including every other song available here on youtube so the only excuse you really have is if you're deaf or don't know a thing about music. Which would make a lot of sense.
