  • For the record, there is never any financial benefit for an artist to play Yamaha. The benefits are purely derived from collaboration, and the company does not place restrictions on what type of music an artist chooses to perform.

  • I can only spectulate that he likes the Yamaha EV204 better then the viper and he is now a "Yamaha Artist" so I am sure there are some finanical benefits that he receives from Yamaha which may include some restrictions on what he play in public.
