@erwinruys at what distance can you see the spray from the Minardi? Schumi took the high ground and Schumi made the wrong decision! DC took advantage of his mistake!
@marccs1978 right before the corner just as Coutlhard tries to overtake Schumacher. Schumacher couldn't close the door because he would've hit the minardi. it's at 10 sec.
Well I think that Marques was more of a chicane. In fairness to Hakkinen, Coulthard had a huge gap on the inside, whereas Hakkinen's was a lairy high-speed quick thinking lunge. That's not to take anything from Coulthard as that must have been pretty scary on the inside line, no TC in the wet. But Hakk's was marginally better.
One difference (I might be wrong though, haven't watched the Mika pass for a while, and haven't time to do so now) is that at this DC MS pass, David had the line, and MS had to take the outside.. Mika's pass were more a "think outside the box" -moment..
@luisitoloco80 I'd say so (assuming you mean 2000) That overtake didn't really take that much skill. They goth got in Zonta's slipstream, and Häkkinen was lucky enough to be on the inside at the corner. That move by Coulthard did require proper skill. Although I might just be biased, being a fellow Scotsman :P
Like Mika in Spa-2000!!!

considering it was closer to the corner, in fact in the corner, i'd have to agree with that

considering hakkinens great move at spa was in 2000 maybe you are... but i would back hakkinens overtake anytime over coulthards.

@luisitoloco80 2000 spa wasn't so great. It was luck that zonta was in the way.
