it would be better if mmos ditched the archetypes like warrior, archer, etc... and went to picking skills from long lists and upgrading any skill you wanted. you could end up with a broken character is your dont balance well, but it would be fun to have unique builds unlike wow where all the characters are like chess pieces. they need only limit the amount of total upgrades you can do. then you add a respec option and you have the perfect skill building feature

L2 is a hard game, more challenging, better in pvp/pve style, but no one plays it.

WoW has loads of players, and people are fun (mostly).

If everyone liked a challenge, it would be obvious that L2 would be better to play (because everyone would play it)

I'd still go for Lineage 2 though. its a better game overall.

and the challenge will keep you coming back for more (or make you stop playing =P )

when i say hard game, i mean by MMO standards. I have played WoW and L2, Lvl81 on L2 and Lvl80 on WoW.

If both games had full servers, L2 would win hands down for me because its more challenging,.

this is also why the average age WoW player is about 13.

WoW is really easy to level cap, while L2 is probably one of the hardest MMOs to cap.

and PvP is only that bad in L2 low lvl and for PK.

high lvl is different.

@airslayer100 there is rogue actually. rogue is before the transfer of hawkeye or treasure hunter. anyway, wow has A LOT more things to do. there's a lot of variety and small details, so for me - wow, although lineage 2 brings me back too good memories to hate it
