  • i love ginger. gonna try this 4 my chest cold

  • Great video bro! Just one tiny bit of information...ginger tea is more effective without honey. Because sugar (including honey) creates more mucus in the body. I think maple sirup would be the best sweetner, if anybody wanted to use anything sweet with it :)

    Peace

  • take the skin of the ginge you racist!!

  • @jeppep95 hahahaahahahahahaha :D

  • @jeppep95 hahahaahahahahahaha :D good one!

  • Yes, give it a shot and try it consistently - may you get well soon.

  • Thanks! i have a horrible cold, ill try this

  • Hope it helps. The drink is pretty strong.

  • Thanks for sharing and I will look forward to your next video.

  • Thanks I read that ginger is good and had been using the ginger spice in the store. Is there a difference between the two?

  • From experience, I found fresh ginger to be the best - hope it helps

  • My background is Jamaican and Scottish and my gran used to make me drink Ginger, garlic, and honey concoction...I even had to eat all the little pieces of garlic and ginger. It tasted horrible but it actually worked.

  • Look to your ancestor's patterns for helping to get rid of viruses to help cure the viruses inside of you.

  • And you are Asian. Ginger works for you, but it may not be the remedy other races of ancestors had used to cure colds. That's why it has cured yours, and it maybe won't help other people.

  • My throat is burning and i'm sweating all over !!

  • SSAME!!!!

  • There is no need to use more than I use (about 1/3 of a large piece of ginger), but if you use much smaller amounts, you will severely dilute the potency. I err on the strong side, since this tea is not for casual relaxation, but to stimulate your system to expectorate.

  • what is the defition of a chest cold i am not sure what i have

  • mucus in the chest due to cold symptoms - chronic cough that often produces gunk

  • Cool. I just had my first batch actually - very nice feeling. My regular flu turned into this chest cold so I'm trying to shake it before it turns into something serious. What's your thought on the amount of ginger? I've seen other videos where they use less - I think after a certain point it reaches a critical mass where more doesn't = better. Thoughts?

  • how many times per day did you take this before you were better?

  • 2-3 times per day. You can drink it cold, but hot is better. Make sure you spit out the mucus when you eventually cough it up (don't swallow... this is crucial). After you are better, continue with the ginger for at least another week to help get out all the residual junk, and to buffer your immune system.

  • nice vid ive had a chest cold for a while lol

  • how much water?

  • 1.5 cups - make sure you keep the lid closed as it boils so that the water doesn't all evaporate

  • Ha, I love this! I've had a nasty chest cold for a while, I'm definitely going to try this!

  • Hi Jerry, this is Olive!

Next time try dark brown sugar instead of honey, but remember to cook ginger and brown sugar together. I love it! I bet you've heard about this receipe from your parents? :))
