This is no goal. The reason is, from on angle from the front of the net has a illusion to it, the directly over head shot has only a small one to makeing it look more of a goal in most times, this didn't even look close. If you look at whats-his-face in the creas, his hand comes over the line into the crease before his hand stop slightly in motion. Meaning the puck had to be in the crease and not in the net.
it was a goal at 4:34 for sure, but take into account the rule is it has to be conclusive since the call on the ice was no goal, and its not completely conclusive cuz the overhead and like 5 different angles its no goal, against one camera that shows its over but you always go back to the overhead cam almost always and that shows no goal so, its an either way call really,i personally think it was a goal, but the nhl would go 50 50 on these type of calls all year long so that time worked for ott
I was watching this on my tv when it happened...my whole family said yes to it. Other than that, I think the refs are favoring the home team! They're in canada, and so are the senators. SO OF COURSE THEYRE GONNA CALL IT A GOAL. It seems that they really don't put enough effort into calling it a goal. An the hit on gagne that night, don't get me started.
you know its a goal when the ottawa announcers go oh wow that puck is over the line... and the hit on gagne should have been called boarding, if thats any flyer to them its 5 min no matter what
im a sabres fan. My fried who lives in PA told me to check this out. He told me all about that hit. And i agree thats a clear goal from over head and side board view.
since the origonal call was no goal, there has to be conculsive evidence...but this was just not conclusive enough...if it had been called a goal on the ice, they probably would have called it a goal. Just one of those calls

def a goal watch from 4:30 to 4:34 if you tell me that goal didnt cross the line and you cant see white than you are legally blind.
