  • is fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this sound is beautiful

  • how do ppl do this??? to me, this song is impossible!!! i got lost at the second line!!! what should i dooooooo??? im so horrible and played for 2 years!!! andicantreachthosehighnotes!!!

  • @789Dreamymimi789 Cut yourself some slack for only playing for two years. What I've found helpful with marches (as I've played a ton of them over the years), is to know the "map" of the piece. This includes things like the repeat signs (mark those), key change that's half way through (mark that too), the "dog fight" section (think of brass vs woodwinds), and even lettering the different sections/strains. For instance, if the first main theme goes from Measure 5-15, mark that section "A."

  • @789Dreamymimi789 The section section, say if it goes from measure 16-32, mark it "B," and so on. That way, it'll be easier to keep track of where you are at in the march. It also wouldn't hurt to number your measures, even if it's just on every line. If you have long measures of rests, you might want to write in entrances of other instruments, such as "M.55 beat 2-Saxes," just in case you get off in your counting. I hope this helps.

  • i hate these ppl. they are so good, compared to them, i play like a retarded person and i cant even get the first note right! DX

  • due to the echo, it sounds unpleasantly sharp. but otherwise damn nice XD

  • really nice!! I am impressed of the tuning.. flutes are difficult to be exactly in tune! but this is great! BRavo!! :)

  • Would be fun to hear them play this in the Capitol's Rotunda on a warm day in May. Can you imagine the reverberation time?

  • Fantastic flute playing - a joy to hear. Please post more soon !

  • This is so sweet! We're playing this song on my band, and I play the flute

  • this helps me a lot because i play the flute in band and we are playing this song..so thanks! they are really good

  • defo needs more differnt range of flute such as double contrabass and contrbass

  • i enjoyed this playing.i think a few more for altos and cbass would help the balance and also some percussion would enhance no end.i play in aflute band/choir in northern ireland and i hope to get some of our bands posted soon.

  • There is plenty of alot, that is what I hear most, I think there could be a little more bass though, and you can't have loud percussion with a flute choir, it just doesn't work xD.

  • the military version sounds much better

you need more deep instruments to let it sound better

(my english is not very good)

  • This march is probably the most known american military march in the world.

  • Actually, it's not a military march, though the military does play it a lot these days. It was written to celebrate the winners of the "Washington Post" newspaper's essay contest. Marches were very popular as dance music in the United States back during the 19th century. Not all of them were based around the military.

  • wow that's a lotta flutess

  • woow very good played ;)

  • OMG that's so awesome! It sounds better with drums and cymbal though.

  • omg i so wanna play a contrabass flute!!!!

lol they are so apparent they they havn't been in a marching band b4, cuz their angles gonnna get their band directors sooooooo mad LOL
