I was absolutly stunned when I heard Stuart had gone. One of the greatest live bands I ever saw, no fancy gimmicks/lightshows/poxy dancing. Just 4 blokes giving their all and a sound of raw energy. I remember this gig on TV.
The fact that in those days bands would do New Years Eve gigs in small venues charging a small amount to see them speaks volumes to the commitment of bands in those days to the fans. How sad and ignorant and shallow 'stars' are nowadays to doing gigs for their public.
jeez,I am just wondering who is that one person that dislike big country and stuart(rip)..can anzone imagine my3000km travelling to london to see them for first time in brixton academy,8 months before gig to buy a ticket, and doin shitty and suspicious, dangerous jobs for all that months, just to see this gig,if anyone remembers it, please confirm that stuart stopped the gig in the middle of where the rose is sown, coz one girl fainted in front of the stage, and cont.with just a shadow, milano, serbia
I grew up listening to BC, I don't think there any great talent that Stuart Adamson. The funny is that I figured bands would just continue to make great songs like this passing the torch so to speak. But just the opposite, I can't think of any rap song that can give chills down your spine like this. At least this music lives on in the hearts of the fans. I'm american and I think BC is the most underated band ever, especially in the states. R.I.P Stuart
One of the most under-rated bands, I though they had the edge over U2( pun intended-get it ) everytime. Great guitar inter play, session quality drumming etc. They were consistanly fab and I bought a Yamaha SG just to be like Stuart. What a waste, RIP Stuart!
GREAT. News Years Eve 1984-85 I remember watching the concert on BBC2..where does the time go! Great footage, was lucky enough to see them several times from 86 onwards.
first band I ever saw back in 87. Sadly forgot about them since Stuart died but will probably go see them in edinburgh dec 27 as this is the most underated band ever and every scotsman that grew up in the 80's will have happy memorys of these guys.. they were and probably still are swesome .. when it comes too the edge dishing out compliments they must have been good..
this song is like pumping fresh blood into your body

Very passionate music from a really tight band. More people should be aware of their music.
