  • the greatest moment in my life happened

  • I still feel a sense of emptiness after all these years since Princess Diana's passing. I live in San Antonio, TX, and I was in Lubbock, TX in 1997.

When she married Prince Charles, I was living in my home town of Syracuse, New York, and I remember getting up at 4:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Savings Time to watch the wedding.

  • Actually Prince William is 27 now and going to be 28 in June.

  • her boys grew up I don't really know how old prince edward is or prince harry is? I don't know much about the royal family I live in houston texas ? RIP princess diana

  • Prince William is 26, he'll be 27 on 21 June. Prince Harry is 25, he'll be 26 on 15 September. This means they were 15 and 12 on 6 September 1997. Their uncle, Prince Edward is 45, he'll turn 46 on 10 March.

Hope this is of use to you. :)

  • @tribecatom Actually, Prince William will be 28 in June. He was born in 1982 ... :o)

  • I always felt once her HRH title was taken off her something bad would happen.

  • @superbev2000 Something did happen but it was an accident and Mohammed Al Fayed has yet to face up to his responsibility in causing it.

  • @tribecatom Thank you! One for posting this and two for stating that it was an accident. And yes, Mohammed Al Fayed his yet to face up to his and his son's responsibility in it.. And also, Diana was somewhat responsible..had she been wearing a seatbelt, automotive experts stated that she would undoubtedly have survived.

  • There not known as redcaps, there known as Redcoats.

  • @Baltorocks123

They are actually know as The Queens Royal Guard - but were known as "Red Coats" - by the Americans - during the American revolution. Never heard of them being called redcaps - as their hats are bearskin hats - and bears are black - not red!!!!

  • I travelled 4 hours to be there that day and was stood in Hyde Park when the cortege passed. A chilling sad sad day. I remember it like it were yesterday and will never forget the great sadness all over London that day.

  • yup.i remember too...it was odd..not even a bird sang on that day........

  • Yes they did - why not Watch the video - many many birds sang & chattered - If I was a twitcher or Bill Oddie - I could even identify the birds - nice sentiment but factually incorrect!

  • u were at diana's funeral?

  • As an American I can say Americans were captivated by a kindergarten teacher who might have been queen and who carried herself so very well. Despite all her family turmoils, she carried herself as a true lady. I've heard a 'Queen of the people' in reference to Princess Diana, and it is an accurate statement. She seemed to know no boundries in reference to countries or politics. She simply seemed to care. We, world wide are poorer for her passing.

  • I agree we're poorer because of her passing, but it's more than ten years now and I think we've moved on a great deal. We will never forget her nonetheless.

  • Very well put.

  • That's a very nice statement but slightly inaccurate to portray her as some "normal" kindergarten teacher who happened to meet a prince. Diana was from one of the noblest aristocratic families in England and could trace her aristocratic ancestry back hundreds and hundreds of years. She is herself a descendant of the English royal family, being descended from both King James II of England and King Charles II of England.

  • Do not ask for whom the bell tolls...

  • thanks for the video, i remember i was watching this the whole morning that day

  • she really was the peoples princess

  • i totally agree and she was the queen of everyones heart

  • I'll miss you forever HRH the Princess of Wales, Queen of our Hearts...

    Rest in Peace

    Once we'll met, in Heaven

  • oh i agree

  • Trefeid you deserve a medal for saying something as wonderful as that.

  • Thanks for posting this. As sad as it is to watch, it is an important mark in 20th century history

  • You are right
