  • is that elliot singing? The war has seemed to take on a different meaning for one political reason or another, but i will never forget 10 years ago sitting in class, and being in disbelief at the events that occured on that day. Thank you troops for fighting the fight so that we can carry on a "normal life" at least as i know it. Sincerley I o u more than I could ever give or show. 9/11/2011 Patrick D McAlister

  • Lol why r u guys crying ? Calm down

  • @sanaisthebest to be honest, you really wouldn't fully understand at all unless you know someone pretty well that's in the army. When you don't get to see your dad for a year or so, knowing that anything could happen to him then yeah. It's pretty emotional.

  • Say want you want about the wars. Hold any political views you want. Rail against the government, or sing it's praises. But if you don't support the troops themselves, then I don't want to know you, I don't want to hear from you.

The kids are what really get me in this video. Everything goes away for them but that mom or dad returning home safe. The whole world just falls away.

  • It really hits home... my husband deployed for the first time in march and wont be home til sometime in Oct... we can't skype or talk to each other a lot, i'm lucky to get a phone call every 2 weeks... our first wedding anniversary went by without any contact... it was hard but we have to get through it. i wouldn't change this life for anything else. I love my marine!

  • @oOMythkillerOo Your English is just fine! :) (I was stationed in Germany)

  • @spd2549 Oh thanks :)

and where you was stationed in germany? :)

  • Haha, since the other day I've finally decided that I will join the USMC. I'll probably get Sgt. Joshua Davis, my recruiter, to help me out with pull ups. That's the only fear I have of joining. I'm worried that if I have a hard time doing pull ups they may kick me out of BC.

  • i won`t cry

    i won`t cry

    i won`t cry

    bawwww

  • watching these videos hits me pretty hard. i never got a suprise visit but seeing my father back on american soil was one of the most beautiful sights. growing up an army brat and now a soldier myself this is great. hooah!

  • The video at 2:40 got me badly! I bawled my eyes out.

  • Ok, I'm having an issue and need help. My grandpa and uncle on my dad's side were in the army. 1 aunt and uncle in the army and 1 aunt and uncle in the navy on my mom's side. Also my cousin's husband's a marine. Im really undecided if I want the marines or the army. I'll be 17 next year and I'm a girl. Please give me opinions. And nothing mean or rude please.

  • @pyarladki1 I personally think that the Army gives you more options when it comes to jobs but everyone has their opinion

  • @pyarladki1 Marines.

My bro was in army too and he said ''If I knew how much walking we'd do I'd have join the navy'' ROFLMAO :3

  • @AciddReign

I think they said something about the beginning or middle of 2012.

  • what happened to withdrawring the troops Obama!!!

  • The is beautiful!! Thank you soilders for all that you do and all that you have been through to protect us!!

For the 21 people who disliked this video you are very unappreciative of the men and women who risks their lives everyday to protect us....YOU included! The least that you can do is appreciate that!! Shame on you!!

  • Makes me cry!Thank you soliders for kepping us safe!

  • when that boy walked around the corner and saw his dad, his facial expression was enough to make me start to cry. God bless our troops!!

  • :(

  • how can people not like this ...

  • 2:38 that kid gets me every time.

  • @alwayssavedbyHislove I know right. I was balling my eyes out.

  • @alwayssavedbyHislove i KNOW! i settled down from crying. and then i randomly clicked on that. and bawled.

  • why do not watch this with other poeple around? thats life!

  • crying :')

  • I find it sad that we know EVERYTHING about people who don't care about us for example celebrities. Selfish brats who barely show talent. We know nothing about the people who care about us the most veterans who thrive to make our country a safer place. The least we could give them is a thank you. Instead people complain about the country. My Dad, Grandfathers, Aunt, cousins and friends are great veterans. My sister is joining the Navy and I'm joining the army.

  • the 20 people who have disliked this are cunts.... just sayin'

  • The girl at 3:06 has made me cry every single 123456789 times I've watched this..

  • This was very heartwarming and made me cry and I also love the song of Elliott Smith you chose for this.

  • No clue who these people are but I'm even crying... don't judge ;)

  • Note to self. Do not watch this with other people around.

  • @flute1234 I agree. Everytime I watch videos like this, I cannot help but tear up or cry a little especially since my brother was in war and came close to death many of times. It's always great when they come home.

  • @flute1234 encore une vidéo destiné a redoré l'image de l’armée du diable, comment vous pouvez les supporté après le 11/09 faut être complétement con !!

  • @flute1234 LOL

  • it surprises me how many people dislike this if you dont like it FUCK OFF!

  • if this doesn't tug at your heart then idk what will

  • in the first vid the kid was so surprised so happy for him and for all the other kids and their parents, all of them should appreciate that because somtimes ur father or any relative is not going to come back. in my situation its my big brother, i will not wish to feel this to any 1. keep be happy and meet ur relatives.

  • God bless our soldiers, all of them.... it must be so hard to leave their families behind especially their little ones who ask for mommy and daddys return it makes me realize how much i would have put my son through if my husband and i decided to go to the army when we were about to

  • Bush himself said that Bin Laden, A SAUDI!, and a band of SAUDIS was responsible for 9/11. The official story is that bin Laden was punishing the USA for stationing troops on holy Saudi soil. Americans seem to think this gives the USA justification to attack any Muslim or Arab nation, including ones that had nothing to do with 9/11 like Afghanistan and Iraq.

We have no evidence that Saddam Hussein was inviólved with the September 11th

    attacks.

    ~ George W. Bush

  • Amnesty found that mankind was suffering greater abuses in 2002 than they had in 2001, and Amnesty found a culprit to blame for the ever-declining state of human rights in the world: THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. For an organization that proclaimed itself an ideologically unbiased human rights advocate, suddenly they seemed unapologetic in their obviously political and hypocritical stance

opposing the government of the US.

and it´s faked "war on terror."

  • Roger Waters use many off these's clips in his THE WALL Tour.

  • :)))

  • How pathetic to have the little worms come onto here and spout their anti war BS. Most of you idiots that criticize our troops wouldn't have the balls to fight for your country, but you'll sit at a keyboard and spew your sanctimonious crap. It's a shame we couldn't go back in time and place your sorry butts on the top floors of the WtC on September 11th

  • @duchovny2

    PATHETIC WORMS, YES? SADISTIC ASSHOLE!

On May 28, 2003, Amnesty International, the supposedly apolitical human rights organisation, turned forty years old. On that day it released its annual report on human rights abuses across the globe during the year 2002. For 311 gruesome pages, Amnesty documented the horrors of execution, torture, abduction, rape, starvation, repression,

and mass murder that darken many corners of the world. In one sad country after another,

  • every soldier a hero, every family united, how it shoud be.

  • @THECRAZYREDNECK4X4 IM THE SEVENTH!!!!!!!!

  • What's the name of the song? Can we get it in the scrip please?

  • This video gives me alot of hope

i live in the UK alone for my university and i havn't seen my family for more than 4 months :(

i really cant wait to see them again <3

  • God bless them

  • 19 people are terrorists

  • No one knows except a soldier and their families as to how much they sacrifice for a country the love so dearly .. PEACE BROS!!!

  • @ 2:34 once i saw tht little boy run up 2 his dad i started crying right away lol

  • @invaliduser1000

They are unwanted and have to be invisible. Same as usual.

  • @gluehweinforever that sucks so fucking bad... fuck the war

  • @Stravinsky91

Yes, you are right. Fuck the war and warmongers.

  • I just don't know how to put these feelings into words... seeing kids in their parents' arm... feels like it's exactly what they need... sad seeing them being apart :'(

  • 19 people should be ashamed of themselves.

  • @lobo81865

715 people should be ashamed of themselves and die in a hole.

    They are idiotic war mongers.

  • @lobo81865

You are pathetic. Obviously you never served one day in the military to make such a disgusting comment. You should be stationed on the front line in Afghanistan.

  • @lobo81865 Did you just comment on your own comment?

  • you can't watch these without crying; unless you have no soul.

  • Now you have watched this, think about those who waited in hope only to be told Dad/Mom wont be ever coming back.

  • The 7 people who disliked shiuld go to hell.

  • The 7 people who dislki

  • I care for the soldiers and I am a Norwegian nato solider to. And in June this year I find out that i am born Jewish. I am a Buddhist since 1992. I see that my friends that are in US army have big problems with groups of Jewish American asholes in America that send US soldiers to Iraq and Afghanistan. I hear from that soldiers that come home from Iraq and Afghanistan get followed by groups of agents from Jews in USA and the agents murder the soldiers and say it is suicide.

  • i would be lying if i said i wasnt bawling through this ENTIRE thing

  • this is so sweet

  • It is unfortunate that these soldiers even need to be over there in the first place. Lmrankniazi,I need to make a suggestion to you that you should take out the 'i" in your username. Kinda fitting I think.

  • @DemonKnight5150 Unfortunate for whom? Not for your capitalist elite who are laughing all the way to the bank. You are fighting an unscrupulous war for Zion's territorial interests in the middle East and giving me a lecture on morality? Pot...kettle...black!

  • @Imrankniazi Why don't you stop assuming that everyone feels that way. I sure as hell don't. I don't believe in all of this stupid conflict anyway. It's unfortunate for ANYONE to think that we need violence to solve problems. You can call me a tree hugger or whatever all you want. As far as the "capitalist elite" are concerned, they can all go screw themselves. I don't believe in their bullshit because it's just that: BULLSHIT! Don't put me in the same category as those assholes.

  • @DemonKnight5150 Don't be so deluded. The reality of any society is that power factions exist. Had it not been the federal bankers, it would have been a warlord Ghenghis Khan, an imperial officer Robert Clive, a fascist Mussolini or a Pope John Paul II.

The idea is that the elite always controls the masses through scriptures, guns, banking or some other way. The aggression in itself wasn't bad. But, it's not serving America's interests because you have Israel's puppets in the D.C. office.

  • @Imrankniazi Only because we've been doing it FOR SO LONG that mankind doesn't know any other way than to be less than civil toward each other. No one has ROYAL blood and no one is more deserving than another just because of their STATUS in society. Just because you're rich doesn't mean you're any more special than the person that cooks your fucking meal at the restaurant you just went to eat at. It's disgusting.

  • @DemonKnight5150 Even I don't believe in royal blood thing. But, a hierarchial system would always exist and the more powerful would find a way to the top. In current times, money and political clout is what woulc define an alpha male (by extension, race or ethnicity too).

Things were different in other times in history.

Who do you think OWNS America? The federal bankers are floating "virtual" wealth to keep you happy. while they are making a good deal of selling America. That's life!

  • My personal beliefs simply fall into the Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect ideal. There's nothing wrong with being a decent person and not allowing a "vengeful God," a corrupt leader, a "royal" queen, or whoever to dictate how you should live. I don't need a bible to tell me that treating your fellow man with respect is a good thing. It's common freaking sense.

  • @DemonKnight5150 "Peace, Love, Unity, and Respect ideal."

You sound like a decent guy, so I'll cut you some slack. These words sound good but DO NOT define a political ideology. A sound political base and an alpha (dominant) society is essential to achieve progress and cut other competing nations (and races) to size.

This is healthy competiton and basically, this is how evolution took place. The Neanderthal developed more than the Cro-Magnon simply because he had to meet greater challenges.

  • Well, we can agree to disagree and that's fine. I'm just saying I think it's stupid that people think you have to step on someone to get anywhere in life. I will continue to believe in a positive way of life and others will continue to live as they see fit. I know that I will continue to be happy as long as I stay true to myself, my spirituality, and my wife and children.

  • @DemonKnight5150 Fair enough. But make sure you understand that most people are survivalistic and territorial in thinking. That's the reason why elite bankers have sold out your nation in the name of mortgage laws, affirmative action and "easy" loans.

Socially, economially and politically bastardising America is not a problem for them as long as more dollars get credited to their banks in Tel Aviv. That's how a dominant alpha-male thinks. Too bad that the common Americans are being played!

  • I guess I just don't get why we can't progress together instead of competing. I totally get that competition has been a part of life since who knows when. People however have lost sight of the "healthy" part of competition and are entirely focused on "winning no matter the cost." When I was in high school, the basketball team I was a part of were very sore losers and never played just for the "fun of it." Mankind could use a little more fun I think but that's me.

  • @DemonKnight5150 I think you are an eternal optimist. Nothing wrong with that, but it'd be really sad when decent people like you get a rude awakening. Maybe, you already are but are just oblivious to realising it. The truth is that there never was a pacifist empire/republic nor would there ever be.

Pacifism/inaction stunts growth and stagnates our gene pool. Periodic cleansing of the gene pool and weeding our minions keeps the specie competitive. That's growth and in a nutshell, life!

  • @Imrankniazi I realize that my reaction to things is absolutely the most important thing in my life. Things happen. You can lose your job, your house, etc but it's how you respond to it that makes all the difference I think. I am very optimistic about today and I try not to worry about tomorrow. It's still a work in progress going from the angry guy caring about all the things going on in the world ON TOP of my daily struggles to the guy who just wants to be happy.

  • @DemonKnight5150 And the current US republic (read: empire) is morally superior to the "evil" Nazi empire you've all been taught to hate because???

    /*crickets chirping*/

  • @Imrankniazi No, I don't believe that the corrupt in my country are any more "evil" as you put it as the next corrupt empire. You can continue believing what you want to believe. I'm just inclined to disagree with you because I think it's ridiculous. There is more to us than what you suggest we are. I'm proud to say that I have made the choice to be NOTHING AT ALL like the human you describe.

  • @DemonKnight5150 Are you a Nihilist? What are your personal beliefs?

You've got to understand that quelling this competitive spirit (to forge ahead and dominating others) is as good as suppressing human nature. That's why it would never be successful as Stalin, Mao, Che, Sankara and many others discoverd the hard way!

Imperialism, or to phrase it better, elitism would always rear its head one way or the other. That's life. May the FITTEST only survive!

  • @ranger : Your a great man!

  • @THECRAZYREDNECK4X4 Outlaw the opposition. So intelligent of you. Are you always this cerebral or are you just making a special effort today, CrazyRedneck?

Must say that is a sublimely intelligent and innovative username. I've never heard that one before :-)

  • 7 people's eyes were filled with tears that they couldn't see like and unlike buttons clearly :)

  • i love the kid in the beginning, his face is priceless when he sees his pop.

  • @THECRAZYREDNECK4X4 No, they were crying so hard they missed the Like button. Seriously, there shouldn't even be an option to dislike this
