I seriously am left do sad after watching this movie. I love it so much... but Jude Law is my dream hubby, he's handsome, sweet, smiley, and a gentlemen, not to mention his accent!!! Ahh, why aren't their more men like him? The more and more I watch this the more I fall madly in love with him, and this movie!!!

What i don't like about the whole Amanda situation, is that she doesn't learn how to be content with just being by herself and learning to heal and be true to herself to be happy, but was instead just going to leave britain until a man came along and made her stay. There wasn't even an ounce of personal growth on her part before she just goes off with another guy, even if it is Jude Law.

@qtip4ever but i think her problem may have been that she was too in control and pretty much fine except for the fact that she can't really fall in love. so she doesn't have love, whereas you might say that iris has too much love for someone who is just jerking her around, & so needed more development of her character.
