I wonder about the warning not to write about yourself, though..... Is it really true that most people are not as interesting as they think they are?

Having worked extensively with autobiographies, I'd say that most people are more interesting than they realize....

For another great resource on screenwriting, check out Robert McKee's Story.... It's a classic for all writers.

A good program which is free for script writing is Celtx. I use it for the scripts I write. I do independent films and it helps for the basic format. This is a good video though. They should mention draw a story board.
