That was awesome! I play mostly rhythm guitar. I know Master of Puppets, For Whom the Bell Toll, The Four Horsemen, Hit the Lights, and now i'm learning Battery, rhythm of course. I wish i was a better with leads though :/ i would just love to tear it up like that, lol. I can play solos like the intro to One and Fade to Black, and that mellow solo in Master. But anything fast like this, forget it.

@alan6333 I actually played this solo through a Line 6 Spider Valve MKI amplifier. I have since sold it and replaced it with a Peavey Classic 30, which is much better, and does not give feedback during gigs. Thanks for the comment!

All of my solos on my page I wish I could re-do, as I have been getting more and more competent with the instrument. For this solo I used a Crate Solid State 212 combo amp. I now currently own a Line 6 Spider 112 tube amp. Both are great. But in my honest opinion, tube amps are better. Cheers! :)

What Kind of amp do you use? And what was the price for it?

I have a Line 6 Spider Valve 112 Tube Amp. And I run it through a Line 6 MKII Shortboard (which contains over 350 different tones, well worht it). I got the amp for $399, and the board for $199. If you want to simplify it, you can get the amp and then the simple pedal, which goes for around $35. Good luck!!
