  • glad to know i passed down that to my nephew, was cut to sportstock b4 i got it, knocked me back when i shot it last

303 british never kicked like that

  • You're one of the few people I've seen who can properly reload a bolt action rifle at a relatively decent speed.

  • this video makes me cry, nice musice, amazing rifle and a fukin great cocking!

  • whats that epic music?

  • @SonyPlaystationOne " save private ryan"

  • mosin nagant's better

  • Das Mauser!

  • i own one and im proud of it

  • ohhh so hot, like a womans body..

  • @WeepingLyric270

    Kar98 is sexy

but Mosin Nagant is so hot

  • That kar is of Czech design, but made in Berlin you can tell because there Is no rounded sights

  • @ThatTankid The front sight hood is removable on most Mauser models. The Czech Mauser is called the VZ24, this is clearly a German example.

  • pretty slick ass

  • Lose the gay music

  • @Flyinghotpocket lose the gay attitude.

  • Hey, don't make fun of Saving Private Ryan. That movie almost made me cry.

  • @SwaffyX saving ryan is the best ww film ever...

  • @ThePiroGrim This song is too beautiful. I'm gonna go buy the soundtrack real quick, heheh.

-.- The music touches my heart.

  • i love this gun

  • Reloading the bullet between shots is the sexiest thing you can do with a rifle :D

I love it! Click Clack Clack Click ;)

  • @FunkyFellaDaBassist Agreed, Bolt-Actions are TRUE rifles.

  • Mhhhhm.... Mauser...

  • i hope the tarbet is justin bieber

  • @Redcoat1780 yeah i decided on that also, besides my brother already has a 91/30 so it would be somewhat pointless

  • not sure whether to buy this or a 91/30

  • Schießen für Deutschland!

  • he was killing zombies in background

  • that is the pissed off ginger kid in 10 years.....

  • PLEASE STOP. Commenting anything about guns from call of duty on this video is disrespectful. This is a beautiful rifle, and nobody gives a crap whether or not your good at video games, or what your favorite weapon is. May this rifle treat you will AoP101.

  • It sucks that when ever i talk about this gun to the professionals they always ask "how'd you know the name, video games? (COD)".

NO i didnt get it from that crappy game the weapons are terribly unrealistic on that game.

  • cod waw best rifle!!!!

  • @ValkyrionxXx quit it with the video games for the last time

  • I dont know about you but fuck M4, Scar, AK47 Some fancy modern rifle, this ROCKS

  • dear santa

  • Do they still manufacture rounds for this?

  • @cyphertek Of course they do. Winchester,Wolf, Privi Partazin, and many other makes it. It's on the expensive side though. Surplus ammo is much cheaper.

  • you would feel so amazing nailing someone with this

  • COD2 memories

  • Patriot :'(

  • Hey where did you go to shoot that?

I'm looking for a place to shoot my Mosin-Nagant.

But I don't like shooting ranges because all you can do is bench shoot.

  • i envy you ..i want this rifle very badly. were can i find one that is not a clone ?

  • thats gotta be the best rifle ever. and i dont say thats to many old-school rifles.

  • Does that say S/42G on the receiver? If so, nice code and nice rifle.

  • wat music is this it makes me feel proud

  • @LedZepplin3853 Its the theme to Saving Private Ryan.

  • @ClassicRockFan1220

It sounds like Brothers in Arms :D

  • i cant imagine firing these ww2 guns without ear protection :p

  • i got one i use it for hunting

  • nice my dad has one of these

  • Saving Private Ryan music?

  • old medal of honour music FTW i think ?

  • very nice

  • wer can u find an origonal non reproduction model online? iv looked everywere and all iv found are reproductions. can anyone help?

  • I want one of these rifles so bad! It would make an awesome hunting weapon too I bet.

  • @KingKoodles I can sell you mine if you want, message me back if you want it.

  • @Paladin166 How much are you selling it for?

  • @TheIronEagle14 Mine is a Russian Captured German Mauser 98k with a scope attached to it. I would give it to you for $360.00 + $30 to ship so it would be $390 altogether.

  • @Paladin166 Wow man, I'm genuinely interested in buying it, but I live in Canada, so I don't know how well that would work. Is it in full working order?

  • @TheIronEagle14 Ouch... I don't think so man. I'll check into seeing if my FFL dealer can ship there. It is in working order btw.

  • @Paladin166 Oh alright, well you can message me if/when you find out, thanks again!

  • What a great sound. :P

  • This is my favourite weapon!

  • *Sniff* It's so beautifull I actually nearly shed a tear when watching this movie.

Greatest gun ever invented, and I think many people got my back on that statement!

  • @Silentulf Indeed it is great. But it did have a functioning problem. When the the Germans were fighting the Russians in the harsh freezing temperatures, the K98 sad to say would jam. Reason why? The Germans as many people know were notorious for precision engineering. A little build-up in the bolt mechanism would cause a jam.

Russian designs like the Mosin Nagant were made with lesser quality and sloppier parts which worked to their advantage in the freezing temperatures.

  • my friend has that gun, it's such a beast

  • best weapon in the world

  • I have a russian capture S/42G marked K98k also and it shoots very nice. I got great 100 yards groups using Portugese FNM surplus ammo.

  • @themanroom126 100 yards is nothing for a rifle. Shooting a rifle at 100 yards is like shooting a pistol at 5 yards (it's just to easy of a hit). The real test is 500 yards even though most people can't spot the bulls-eye at that range.

  • @themoparguy Well, I don't have access to a 500 yard range and when I shoot, I want to be able to see the target i'm shooting at be it paper or game. I'm sorry that I don't meet or exceed your standards.

  • @themanroom126 I was just joking about 500 yards. That's practically sniper distance. And besides, there's always a desert or out somewhere in the country where someone can shoot without having to pay for any range or whatever. 300 yards should be a good test.

  • @themoparguy Unfortunatly, I live in New York state....I don't have access to a long, long range....in fact right now in this state, i'm lucky to even still be able to own anything that goes "bang".

  • Kar98k

  • I love this rifle so much, so fun to shoot.

  • I like the music from Saving Ryan's Privates.

  • @laxitives more like Shaving Ryan's Privates...

  • best rifle ! :)

  • whats with the music??

  • nice. music from saving private ryan

  • Nice gun!!

  • What type of cartridge is that? 7.92mm?

    Sweet gun BTW

  • fallout 3 weapon ftw :D

  • My uncle has a 1937 model, beautiful rifle and owns all others at the 600 yard!

  • My fav. rifle.

  • @Master666555 smae i shot my grandas kar it was so lovely .....

  • @UnleashCINEMA You shot with it? Mhh now i´m jealous :D

  • @Master666555 yeah its realy cool :D

  • @Master666555 nazi

  • Oh, nice.

  • plus, its ironic that saving private ryan's theme song is playing in the background when he's shooting a german issued rifle

  • wrong its actually german the russians used a mosin nagant or just a mosin. you can tell the difference from the boddy and the nozzle of the gun

  • @zooloo129

yeah that's true. its like that in call of duty lol

  • @zooloo129 the nozzle???

    its called the muzzle bro

  • @tippymaster14 my mistake

  • @zooloo129 and the bolt

  • @zooloo129 And, because the Mosin Nagant is just plain inferior to the Kar98.

  • @Darkestsides .... thats false

    they both are incredibly accurate

    and both similar

  • @zenREVolution I would love to see the mosin-nagant hit a target past 600 yards.

  • @Darkestsides i mean hands down id choose kar98kurz too but look this video up: "1,000 yards 1942 91/30 Russian Mosin-Nagant (P/U) sniper rifle"

  • @zenREVolution Just saw that video, it was damn impressive. He did a lot to the rifle in the video to make it hit that far. Quite nice to see a vintage rifle get a modern remake.

  • @Darkestsides yeah it would be great to see the original do that but i guess you gotta improve at some point, not the case for kar98k though lol

of course its also the person shooting the gun to take it the guns limit

  • @zooloo129 and the bolt and the Mosin Nagant has a chamber where the clip sits in like the Lee Einfield has.

  • @zooloo129 nozzle? lulz

  • Americans weren't the only casualties.

    Das macht nichts.

  • 7.92 8mm mauser rounds

  • what rounds does it shoot?

  • guess you mixed sth up, pal. "nazi" is not equal to "landser"

  • Thats not really a fault of the gun itself, though. Its still a beautifully designed, very reliable gun.

  • @JCtherocks Not enough

  • Mauser K98k is one of the greatest work horses, accurate and powerful rifles ever massed produced. I own an M1, Enfield, Mosin Nagat and Yugo Mauser. I love them all. All have there strengths and weaknesses but as far as KO power at long distances the 7.92x57 aka 8mm Mauser wins hands down.

  • I own both rifles (K98 S42,and Enfield No1 MkIII BSA), SMLE had a smoother action and is quicker than K98. Accuracy (at 100 meters) is the same. This is my experience...

  • the kar98 is known for having one of the smoothest bolt operating systems of any bolt action gun made

  • I'm pretty sure that the Lee Enfield has the smoothest bolt operating mechanism. I've held one and man, it's so easy to bolt it back and forth. That's what made it such a fantastic rifle. Looking at some Karbiner 98 videos, it doesn't look as smooth.

  • That's because the Enfield uses a "cock-on-close" bolt, on which there is virtually no resistance when opening the bolt. As well, the resistance from the firing pin spring when closing it adds to the buttery feel. The 98K has a "cock-on-open" bolt, where merely lifting the bolt cocks the rifle, giving resistance. And the spring provides no resistance when closing. It's meant to be operated fast and with force.

  • im pro american on ww2items but the german and russian weapons are the most buetifal sorry i cant spell buetifal lol

  • i know, i own a german k98k mauser and its a beautiful (thats how you spell it by the way) gun

  • hehe the same

  • is macgregor of call of duty 2? XD

  • lol i have this gun...my great uncle after the war sent us back a stormtrooper uniform an a kar98k mouser lol

  • yeah it was very very common for american ww2 soldiers to send back helmets, uniforms, pistols, rifles, knifes, hats, insignia etc

  • glorious i'm going to get my hand on one someday, my comes with a bayonet too.

  • nice p

  • the soundtrack is the scene from saving private ryan

  • Wow, someone who actually shoots it properly and doesnt take it off their shoulder to re-cock the mechanism.

  • Can i have her

  • ohh that is a beauty

how much did u buy it for?

  • mint condition dood

  • just love the feel of a bolt action, I've tried other multi action rifles but bolt action is my fav

  • favourite weapon!

  • amzing

  • james ryan ♥

  • I love this weapon

  • i love that soundtrack of saving the private ryan

  • Where did you get that weapon

  • GINGER!

  • I love this gun, def my fave ww2 rifle. There's just something about a bolt action rifle that's badass.

Oh and giant ass bullets help too! o_O

  • I Love the weapen because the loading sequenz

  • Man I would love to go hunting with such a nice rifle.

  • I love me an 8mm, I have to wiggle the rounds on the stripper clips before i load cause they are surplus from the 50's so they are a little stiff, but push them in, and slap the bolt forward, you dont always have to pull it out. Close the bolt hard and they pop out, designed that way for war.

  • I wish i had one. where you got yours?

  • cod 2 @<3 ahah

  • I love the loading sequenz ^^

  • nice :D

  • my favoreite of WWII guns, nice vid

  • nice reloading skills

  • its goingto havea big clip its a rifle with high powerammo...

  • what's the music called?

  • I think its the hymn of the fallen from saving pravite ryan....and I want that gun sooooooooooo bad awsome video

  • Those are some big cartridges!

  • nice demonstration, music (because many people use music that has way more volume than the guns) and nice background, snow is perfect.

  • sounded just like it does in call of duty. great vid by the way. the kar98k is one of my favorite bolt action rifles

  • better gun of ww2

  • einfach geiles teil!!!!
