I got back from Greece a couple of weeks ago, it is absolutely horific. Why doesnt their government do something about it instead of just sitting back and condoning it. Now they are accusing the u.k., Germany and Denmark of taking their strays for skins and medical experimentation. Why would be want to pay over 4000 euros to re-home one stray dog to do that? We have plenty of our own strays if that were the intention.

See 'Animal abuse in Greece' & 'Animal abuse in Kos' videos.Greek govt are also breaking laws by allowing poisoning of 1000s of cats&dogs at the end of tourist season.This is all over Greece& Islands.I beg you all, think twice about visiting a country with barbaric&uncivilised attitudes towards animals.Nothing will change until they see decline in tourist euros!Help these defenseless animals & sign the petition on GreekAnimalRescue site&donate if you can to 1 of the charities out there

@StFrancis27 About 150,000 dogs were killed or abandoned,in your country,.200 dogs were killed in a shelter,i would suggest people to watch the video ...Stray Dogs Against All Odds...in England!...So your smart ass would stop saying terrible thinks about the Greeks!...The dogs in Greece are happy the way they are!..BEHAVE NOW!
