Do you shave the hair on your face now? I got this done a couple years back and I still have to shave twice a week but now the shaving has ruined my skin. I have acne and I have never had acne in my entire life.

@ItsJustMeNaina I get my face done and I'm sort of dealing with the same thing. From what I've heard, you have to back and get it done because if you keep shaving the hair will grow back even in the cleared areas. You probably need more sessions?

I used to shave before I got my treatment, but the lady doing it for me advised me to come back when the hair just starts growing..like when it's not fully grown? You know what I mean?

I know this video is a little older, but I used to work in a laser hair/tattoo/vein removal and everything you said is exactly correct... some people don't think it works because they only go for 1 or 2 treatments. Because I worked there I had to get treatments just to explain the feeling to customers and I only went for one session for my underarms but it was amazing! Hopefully you get great results!!

@pixiecozmica Hi yeah i understand thats a different place , its hard for me to say but at least you can completely shave it. rather then waxing you've to wait till it grows back. so at least through out your treatment you dont have to have any hair anyway. then when your finished it wil be gone. sure go in for ur consultation and ask them, they dont mind, there're really helpful xxx

U need to get an at home laser treatment like I did, i bought the Tria and i love it. I do it at my own leasure and it works. I paid about $1000 for it last year but now the price came down. DAMN I should have waited.

I had 12 treatments of laser hair removal done and paid over $1,500 and it did absolutely nothing. I'm glad it's already working for you though, different companies work better than others. AMERICAN LASER INSTITUTE is horrible. Don't go there.

@afgnilli I have PCOS and I've been gettng laser hair removal for 2 years (several different areas stretched out over time). If you're on BC or are natural working on balancing out our hormones, the laser hair removal works amazing. However if you are not doing anything to treat the hormone inbalance, then it's not going to do much. Laser hair removal, is a life saver, expensive at the start but saves money down the road. Definetly worth it!

@afgnilli You're welcome :)  BC is just short form for birth control pills. The pills just help lower the levels of androgens (male hormones) that contribute to excess hair which Metformin does aswell. So since you're on medication that will help PCOS and also the excess hair then laser hair removal will do its job. Good luck!
