I think they patched it. When you try to sign in on a third profile after the game starts, a screen pops out that says full contact safari...weird lol.

@jShazBOT When I try doing this glitch, an image pops up for about 2 seconds titled "Full Contact Safari". Try doing what you did on the vid again, maybe it'll show up for you too.

I tried to do it earlier today but couldn't. I'm thinking that maybe my timing was just off and I need to work on that. But not once did I get a screen that said "Full contact safari".

@jShazBOT Yeah it's the most random thing ever dude. Shows a picture of some UNSC marines posing in the background for a second and a half and then it reverts back to the game menu.

this is great. But you could not do it with 4 players on halo cos you'd have to abandon one at the end cos a warthog only allows 3. LOL.

microsoft didnt intend for the glitch to happen...

it just sets it up for a party of four before it can realize the glitch.. the system thinks that the party is 2 different areas each with split screen, rather than local.

You can have up to 4 people playing offline splitscreen on Halo 3. You only need Xbox live if you want to play Matchmaking or with an online friend.

actually only player 2 is arbiter, player 3 is a blue elite with the normal helmet. player 4 is an assult helmet elite
