As soon as I saw the cheering audience, I knew I belonged there. With the rest of those girls, cheering and screaming and swooning for Frank is,where I belong. And just in that era in general......it makes me really sad that I can never be there. Only watch movies and clips like these. :/
OMG..I was there if not for this performance but one during his appearance here. Had to sit in the 3rd balcony and listen to screaming girls during the show who brought their lunch, stayed for 4 performances, and talked all through the movie. When he took off his jacket, loosened his tie, and sang Old Man River the place went berserk! I'm 80 now and will never forget that night. Or seeing him here in San Francisco 20 years ago when he still mesmerized the crowd at Masonic Auditorium!
@racre8iv lucky...I wish i was born back in the day just to hear this man sing and enjoy the good ol America...I discovered Sinatra about 7 months ago and it didn't take long for me to become a BIG fan of him.
