When I first watched this movie, I never wanted to see it again due to; "Those we don't speak of" creatures.. But then I wanted to one time and the only time where it freaks me out is when Ivy crosses into the woods, and comes across one of the scariest creatures, and more aggressive unlike any others O.O when she hides behind the tree, it's right behind it on the other side... then when she walks away and steps on a twig and it makes that grunt sound, ugh freaks me out XD

ok i just saw the movie and my god, its the most awsome thing ever! most awsome is the powerfull pasion between Ivy and Lucius, at the moment when the so called "creatures" or "the ones who name cannot be speak" entered the village ivy sit in front of her door, "she is blind btw" and she can hear the creature aproaching, but shi stood there and waited for Lucius to grab her hand and resque here, and in last seconds when the creature almost thouched her, Lucious grabs her hand and close the door!

I really wish Shaymalan ended the movie with there really being a monster in the woods. He could have kept the original storyline and just had one final shot of a monster watching the village from the forest, implying there really was a monster. The council elder guy even set it up saying "There were legends of creatures in these woods" It would have made the movie perfect and it would have been a DOUBLE TWIST. Shame it didn't turn out that way.
